Oh Kaz {HUGS} :rotfl: how old is your DD? We've had the exact same problem with our DD - she's 16 now and beyond talking to/listening to us but she dressed like a stripper from just after turning 13  We had the same "you're not wearing that without leggings/tights" arguments and the "please don't go out without a coat it's below zero today" one - it all fell on deaf ears - she'd just take the leggings off on the bus or 'forget' her coat constantly.

Sounds like I've been pretty lucky so far - my 15 year old dresses trendy, but not tarty. I've had the argument about wearing a coat when its freezing too!!

Going to send a BS tea tree facial wash to the CS - none of us like the smell!!!
Might end up doing the same with the Elle McPherson body butter - since my dd keeps complaining it makes me smell manly!! :o

I need to go to bed.

The ads on tv are making me spend pennies on b**ts.

    But I need "3 day straight" spray, don't I...?

    Grrr :rotfl:

No you don't need it, it's all a con and probably won't work.
The thing is I wash my hair every day, so it would be useless if I bought it that's what I keep telling myself:A

I used to eat vicks vapour balm when I was a child, can't imagine why.

Kaz - you are scaring me, I have a 7 year old DD and she want's to wear some odd things already. What i find really annoying is that really inappropriate clothing is available in their sizes and all the pretty things go up to 5/6 years with the odd exception. She still really likes pretty things so we are OK at the moment, apart from having to hunt them down but I can see the signs. It doesn't help when all the singers she likes dress like that or don't bother dressing at all.
