I thought it might taste as good as it smells. It really doesn't:rotfl:

Re the cellulite stuff, I've found my cellulite vastly improved just by using moisturiser every day and scrubbing regularly, skin is very firm now. I think skin firming products are a waste really, they tell you to use them everyday and IMO it is this alone which does the trick so you can achieve the results with cheaper products.

Heartily, heartily agree. Well, I would, wouldn't I, but save your money on these imo- I hate products that exploit the obvious.

Charlie huge dodgy group hugs for you :grouphug: How are you feeling today?
Hi Sawan, I had a reply back from my friend in Japan. She's living with her sister at the moment. Her mum and grandparents are still missing and it's probably safe to assume by now that they're dead. She sounded so positive in the email though, said that everyone's messages were making her feel better. I bet I wouldn't be that brave if I were in her situation.
It takes a lot to cope at all in that situation. I don't think I could either, but I think sometimes inside we're a lot stronger than we give ourselves credit for. She's in all our thoughts and I'm sure lots of good vibes going her way.

I am seconding (or thirding) the Tweezerman products - well worth the investment.
Also have at last an eye shadow splutterer - my first one since starting this challange 6 months ago. Clinique Lot-O-Lilac. I have been making an effort since Christmas to put on eye make up every day for work and I am now a little bit worried about the stash size I have accumulated in eye shadows. I may not need to buy another one for 10 years based on my UU speed. Very MSE I suppose - I just don't want them going off.
You UU an eyeshadow??! I'm aiming for that, but I have so many. The favourite base/shadow of the moment is Benefit's Bikini Line. And I've dropped it somewhere  It's great for everyday use no matter what I'm wearing!

Sawan - LOVE your nails! I don't really use tweezers on my eyebrows as I have them waxed, but for stray hairs I use a pink pair from Primark (£1.50) that have a little light attatched so I can see the tiny bits!
Thank you! I'm hoping it helps get UUs a bit quicker on the polishes :o

Sawan - I have the superdrug tweezers too, they were only a few pounds and are fab, I can't imagine that a £10-15 pair could be better really.
That's what I always think, but I've had some real duds before. Why are tweezers so hit & miss sometimes?? :(

They're back in the next brochure (no 8) for £5. That brochure appears online from 20th April.

I bought my pair from Avon which are really good. I think they only cost £5.00.
I've just had a look on-line and for some reason they're not on their website, not sure if they'll still in the book.
RE TWEEZERS: I have Tweezerman ones which are excellent - I've had them for years and they are superb. I seem to recall that you can send them back to Tweezerman to be re-ground too. Having said that, there are a couple of sets on the Boots site that looks suspiciously similar to the tweezerman ones that Holly linked to - have a look at THESE and THESE.
I know these are more than you are willing to spend but I do really recommend them and I've the mini ones as well which are slightly cheaper after I couldn't find them and then found them later... I still think they come with a lifetime guarantee as well, if they go blunt, you can send them back.

Thank you so much for all the tips on the tweezers. I really like the look of the Tweezerman ones and the reviews are all good. So going to either buy them with AC points in B**ts, or get the MisterMascara ones and get the Tweezerman ones in the next set of sales. Kicking myself now for not buying them when BrandAlley last had them on! I usually get my eyebrows threaded every 2-3 weeks, but I always need tweezers for the stragglers or when I don't have time to go get them tidied.

sawan - love the nail pic -you have a lovely length and shape to your nails and apply the polish a lot better than I do -any tips?
Thanks bev. This time I did use a base coat as green tends to stain my nails. And I always use a nail cutter rather than scissors (I just can't control scissors!) to curve around the top slightly. That's about it :o They do look better with using hand/nail cream though. My hands can't be seen in public in winter :rotfl:Also, the polish has a lot to do with it and the brush. I found I made a total mess trying to use OPI lacquers (admittedly minis), whereas I'm a lot 'cleaner' with the newer wide brushes, and slightly 'thinner' polishes.

I liked the smell of the breakfast scrub so much that I tasted it once:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: It doesn't taste as yummy as it smells thats for sure :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl: Nutter :rotfl::rotfl:

Talking of Scrubs - I'm loving the BS Wild Cherry - it's a gel base so really dissoves in the water so no sticky, scrubby residue left - on me or the tub :p :T

 My stash is getting smaller :) I can now move stuff from out under the bed into my bathroom storage!! yey!!!! :) feels so good to make some space :beer:

It does feel good to make some space - I like it now I can open the bathroom drawers and actually see what I want rather than having to take everything out to get at the stuff at the bottom :D

The hard bit is trying not to fill it up again :o :rotfl:

A couple of UU's from last night/this morning:
Burt's Bees Honey & Jojba Hand Creme: WIBA? Mmmm - I'm not sure TBH. It smells fantastic - goes on lovely, but disappears very quickly so it needs to be used again sooner - which is probably why I've managed to get through a 50ml jar so quickly :(
Avon Cherry Ice Foot Spray: WIBA? Yes - but it may have been discontinued. I have another one but might order the Lime Mojito one next. It does exactly what is says on the bottle - cools my feet - which helps when they are swollen (which is often at the moment :() My only real criticism is that the the tube for the spray doesn't reach all the way to the bottom of the bottle  I emptied some of it into the new bottle and I tried using it with a cotton wool pad but that didn't work as it just dried on the pad and stank like polish remover  i've re-used the bottle by giving it a good clean and have filled it with hair detangler - great size for my Travel Kit :D

And a quick review (so far) of the Lacura Multi Intensive Serum which I've been using for a few days. So far I really rate it - goes on cleanly, soaks up well, no greasy residue - I like it. Maybe not as much as my HG P&P but certainly more than the Olay 3 Point Serum :T. In fact I'd say my only criticism so far is that it comes in a glass bottle which will be impossible to get those last bits out of - which we all know is usually at least another weeks worth of product :p

Agreed, it's a great product and the bottle is a bit of a shame, I think they use it as it is typical premium product packaging, which is what the Aldi serum feels like, apart from the cost!

I got a lot of the residue out by storing it upside down and using the tube as a kind of spatula when unscrewing the top.

[RANT]Got a Merc ML in with fuel smell reported. The car is p****ing petrol when started. Taken off the wheel, arch, filter to find the leak is a pipe above tank. Customer doesn't want it done today/tomorrow because wants to drive the car to take kids somewhere or other. HELLO?? One cigarette and kaboom. Why are people so willing to risk their own & others lives?? [/RANT]

Sorry for the rant guys. But I think that's pretty irresponsible. To know, be aware and still drive it.

    OMG:eek::eek::eek:

I do try not to judge generally speaking, but what a terrible mother. Would she leave her children in a house with a gas leak? Or throw them in the lion enclosure? Silly cow!!!

Back OT. Epic FAIL on my part today :(
Lesson to myself: do not shop when feeling miserable.
Just came in from Asda with 6:eek: new shower gels and a deodorant. They will go nicely with my 9 other shower gels, and 2 other deodorants :o
Imperial Leather are on 4 for £3 and Dove are £1 each, so was the Vaseline Roll on.

I've practically given up trying to resist perfumes. I now have 55 including Perfume Parlour oils and mini bottles. I'm hopeless :o

Valm, will you let us know how you get on with your new scrub, £1 is fab if it works.

Will do. I've just used it for the first time and the texture is strange. It came out of the tube in a foamy shape IFSWIM and then when I applied it to my face it felt very similar to S&G Scrub Your Nose in It. Will let you know if it's effective or now.
It smells like the Avon Planet Spa Brown Sugar one used to, but is much better in use as that was in a bottle which was rubbish to get the scrub out of. I have to say I was quite impressed with its "scrubbiness" this morning - deeply delighted that I like it as it smells so fantastic I was dreading that it would turn out to be like Flakeaway - smells lush, feels awful! :D

I agree re: Breakfast Scrub. Don't think it beats the S&G Spa Sugar Crush scrub though.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!
