Ladies,
I'm after some tweezers. I have some RED ones which aren't that great. And the really lovely RED ones I've got can't be found anywhere. Any recommendations? Willing to spend about £10 (£15 max if they're awesome
)
TIA :beer:
i've got some lovely ones from superdrug not long ago, they have a black coating on them. They were certainly a lot less than a tenner and i find them very easy to use.0 -

Totally lost it at him. Needless to say hes told me to leave. Just packed a tone of stuff up and am now waiting for my mum to come pick me up.
Charlie sorry to hear this, i hope it works out the way you want it to. but don't forget you are a strong woman who doesn't need to be with anyone to be a valid person. You have the right to respect from yourself and others. That being said if you really want it to work then i hope it does. Maybe a time out will help.0 -

Sorry -alba home science testing, its does like cosmetic trials etc - basically you get sent a free product to trial, get asked to fill out a short survey about the product and you get paid for it too. So free stuff and getting paid to have it. Sometimes its just studys about products tho which you get paid for too. Last month i had a survey on oils you come into contact with which paid £10. And the free facial wipes i got paid £5 to test.MFW 2020 #111 Offset Balance £69,394.80/ £69,595.11

Aw charlie, hugs
it's very hard when you're at uni and finishing your course and the other half of you is out working. It kind of puts the relationship on an uneven footing. He's probably feeling like he's out at work all day and then doing his own business in the evenings and why can't you do everything at home because you're not doing anything. Whereas you're trying desperately to finish your dissertation and worrying about money etc etc and feel like you never get to have any time away from anything.
Gosh... this perfectly describes recent tensions in my house
He thinks the grass is a lot greener on the my (final year student) side and seems to think I have tons of free time whereas I would kill right now for a 9-5 where I don't have to think about work outside those hours (and a decent income of course).
Good luck working things out charlie, i know how you feel0 -

That's awful Charlie, I hope things work out for you the way you want them to

Hi Sawan, I had a reply back from my friend in Japan. She's living with her sister at the moment. Her mum and grandparents are still missing and it's probably safe to assume by now that they're dead. She sounded so positive in the email though, said that everyone's messages were making her feel better. I bet I wouldn't be that brave if I were in her situation.
Back OT, I finally finished my Soap & Glory Slimwear this morning. Not sure if I would buy it again - I noticed some difference in my cellulite but not sure if it was the product, or the action of rubbing my thighs and getting the circulation going that did it!Sealed Pot Challenge Number 1225

Me and Jeremy clarkson at a dinner party would be lighting blue touch paper and stand well back, I can't even stand to see or hear that man for one second, it fascinates DH when I go into a rant over him:rotfl:
Yes, I rather had a feeling that might be the case Viv!

My Dissertation is in!!!!!
<SNIP>
I really like the 99p olay ones I had (which actually is my only UU) this week - although I admit the last 4 were used up on my bedroom wall (get the mould off) rather than on my face but they were really good, the cheapy ones I bought (3 for £1) just make my face really dry...
Oh and also.....I have an email from that job offering it to me, nothing about me even not accepting it haha they just say I start tomorrow at 8.45 - on that note I was telling the girls about it and one of the older ones, well her mum worked for the boss as a housecleaner, well anyway if I wasn't already going to turn it down, I would be now....
Well done on the dissertation! :T I'm glad too that I'm not the only one who uses cleansing wipes for getting the damp/mould off the bedroom wall - have you noticed it seems to slow the mould coming back too?
Sorry to hear you're still having problems with your OH - is it worth spending a few days at your Mums in any case - just to get some fresh air on the situation and be able to get your head straight on what you actually want? It's a shame he went off at you again today of all days too - it really should have been all about celebrating, shouldn't it.
RE TWEEZERS: I have Tweezerman ones which are excellent - I've had them for years and they are superb. I seem to recall that you can send them back to Tweezerman to be re-ground too. Having said that, there are a couple of sets on the Boots site that looks suspiciously similar to the tweezerman ones that Holly linked to - have a look at THESE and THESE.
I might *just* finish my Moringa shower gel before we go away, and I have decided that I am going to call my mascara dead on Thursday morning too as it's been open a while and it's starting to dry out. Will try out Breakfast Scrub tomorrow morning too - really looking forward to that. We're going to start shoving clothes into a rucksack in a bit so I might put a face mask on while we're doing it as OH is in charge of rucksack-packing, I just give moral support!

I think I'd be angry with my mum too if I'd asked her to get me and she spoke to my OH and changed plans without telling me
Sounds like you need a break either way
No IN's or UU's here - my Burts Bees Handcream is on it's last legs - will probably finish it up tomorrow.
