I bought my pair from Avon which are really good. I think they only cost £5.00.

I've just had a look on-line and for some reason they're not on their website, not sure if they'll still in the book.

They're back in the next brochure (no 8) for £5. That brochure appears online from 20th April.

    Hi everyone

Been busy with the house - chosen an estate agent and photographing the house tomorrow.:T

    Anyway,

rosemary -hope you are bearing up,

charlie - well done on getting the dissertation in - I remember it all well and it is a huge relief when it is finally submitted.

sawan - love the nail pic -you have a lovely length and shape to your nails and apply the polish a lot better than I do -any tips?

VALM and Scrappie - feel we are all doing well resisting QVC and their temptations - I ignored beauty day but remember the first one with a MOP TSV and 1p p&p - those were the days....

No UU's but several OUT's. I sold a shower gel, body lotion and soap with sachets aswell on ebay. Really pleased - still have some more perfume and hair stuff to sell though.

Must go, as I am shattered - bye for now:)

(((((Charlie))))) - hope things improve - and well done for getting your dissertation out of the way. This should give you a chance to look at what is happening without that added stress.

I am seconding (or thirding) the Tweezerman products - well worth the investment.

I had to bin a spluttering Clinique lipstick tonight as it fell off my huge ledge and onto the floor. When I retrived it, the lid had bounced off leaving the lipstick sporting a beard!!! :embarasse Time to break out the hoover methinks!!!

Also have at last an eye shadow splutterer - my first one since starting this challange 6 months ago. Clinique Lot-O-Lilac. I have been making an effort since Christmas to put on eye make up every day for work and I am now a little bit worried about the stash size I have accumulated in eye shadows. I may not need to buy another one for 10 years based on my UU speed. Very MSE I suppose - I just don't want them going off.

A UU and an IN for me from yesterday.

UU: TBS full size Shea Body Butter. Will probably buy again next Winter. Is too thick for this time of year now.

IN : After reporting about my milia picked up a facial scrub containing salicylic acid cos I know this works on them. Was a bargain though and was £1. from Savers. The brand is Beauty Formulas.

Also yesterday had one of those garra ruffa fish pedicures. Felt very weird but has done the job. Those little fishes looked pretty bloated after they had finished with my feet though! TMI I know. x
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

*hugs* Charlie, hope things get better for you soon and bg congrats for finishing your dissertation!

Sawan - LOVE your nails! I don't really use tweezers on my eyebrows as I have them waxed, but for stray hairs I use a pink pair from Primark (£1.50) that have a little light attatched so I can see the tiny bits!

Absinthe - sorry to hear about your friend's family, I hope she will be okay :(

    Few UU for me

S&G Clean Girls shower gel - love it, but the bottle are just too big so probably would not buy again (still have two 500ml Clean On Me's left)

S&G face wipes - bit rough so would not buy again

BLiss lemon and sage shower gel - nice, but I think the OS shower gels are better

Bliss lemon and sage body butter - great texture, sank in really well but couldn't smell it after about five minutes and it's VERY expensive! So wnba

Sawan - I have the superdrug tweezers too, they were only a few pounds and are fab, I can't imagine that a £10-15 pair could be better really.

That's awful Charlie, I hope things work out for you the way you want them to :(

Hi Sawan, I had a reply back from my friend in Japan. She's living with her sister at the moment. Her mum and grandparents are still missing and it's probably safe to assume by now that they're dead. She sounded so positive in the email though, said that everyone's messages were making her feel better. I bet I wouldn't be that brave if I were in her situation.

Back OT, I finally finished my Soap & Glory Slimwear this morning. Not sure if I would buy it again - I noticed some difference in my cellulite but not sure if it was the product, or the action of rubbing my thighs and getting the circulation going that did it!

Absinthe - really sorry for your friend, absolutely awful situation.

Re the cellulite stuff, I've found my cellulite vastly improved just by using moisturiser every day and scrubbing regularly, skin is very firm now. I think skin firming products are a waste really, they tell you to use them everyday and IMO it is this alone which does the trick so you can achieve the results with cheaper products.

Valm, will you let us know how you get on with your new scrub, £1 is fab if it works.

Charlie - hope things have improved a bit overnight, you really are having a nightmare at the moment aren't you. Is there something else bothering your OH that he hasn't discussed, sometimes when we are subconciously worrying about something we lash out at those nearest, maybe he has a problem he needs to face head on.

Charlie, well done on the dissertation with everything else going on. I think you said you still have some exams? Be strong and stay as focused as you can, huge hugs to you.
Rosemary, re all the rainbows around you at the minute - a dear friend once said to me, there is no such thing as coincidence - she was responsible for an amazing but wonderful 'non-coincidence' as she would call it, after a very good friend of mine had died. I hope they continue to bring you comfort.

I'm sat here with a Herbal Conditioner intensive treatment hair mask on, having blissful relief from scalp itch. I added tea - tree oil to it, and to my shampoo. At least I know it's not nits (occupational hazard when I was childminding) and just the after - effects of that damned Clairol foam! I've also added tea tree oil to my leave - in conditioner.

Chucked out the Virgin Vie cleanser - the pump bit broke as I was having another go at using it as lotion, it took ages to sink in and I thought 'why are you keeping this'? It must be a few years old now. WIBA? Nope. Nothing wrong with Nivea and it's more versatile.

Nitty, you are winning the battle - you just lost a minor skirmish. Use up your nice new TIGI products under PRCP, they must be good, from what I've read on here. I might find out next year myself....
Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.
