Hope you're both okay charlie and sawan :grouphug:

    couple of UU this morning:

tesco relaxing bath salts(or something like that)- WNBA- smelt very sweet and synthetic and I don't like bath salts in the first place but this was a gift. Not very relaxing as they had dried flower petals which felt weird in the bath, and looked like moths without my glasses on:eek:

Botanics mini body butter-WIBA? yes, I cut the tube and scraped every last bit out! (never would've done that before this thread:D) really moisturising, I think it is just as good as BS BB but half the price and for a 450ml tub:eek: The only thing is the smell which is more planty and you can smell it over perfume so I only use it at night.

and a Herbal Essences shampoo which I will buy again.:j

although a few unexpected ins:rotfl: The Lush package came today with my replacement for yummy yummy yummy shower gel (they emailed me yesterday to say they sent it and it was here before 11:eek:)
    I got:
Honey I washed the Kids soap as the shower gel replacement
whipstick as a replacement for the weird gritty texture of maple taffy
and sweetie pie to cover postage

Lush are so generous-they sent me possibly my 3 favourite products ever:T

Sawan - just adding to the hugs, hope you feel ok.

EH - hope you have a fab holiday.

Been to boots so have a couple of outs and some ins:eek:, due to my massive stash of facial moisturisers/serums I have returned an unopened lift and luminate day cream and night cream. Got a refund and then noticed that no7 is on 3 for 2 again, didn't want any more skincare so I got body butter, cleansing body polish and blissfull body wash. SA said they ran out of the free gift so have put 3 for 2 back on to compensate. Wish they would give up with this now. My moisturiser/serum stash is at 37 now, was 46 so am pleased, this includes some sample sizes and a cream that i am using as foot cream, still bad but better. Was hard to return these items though, like some of us have said before it's nice to have them even if you don't need them.

Then I called into Sainsburys for some bread and got Phil Smith xplosive volume spray and xpanding thickening cream. Never heard of this range and it was half price and as I don't have a lot of styling products thought I would give it a go.

Nearly had a uu last night, have been using Gok gold body wash as body wash and bubble bath and thought it would be finished but there is still another showers worth in the tube:(. Will put the matching body butter away to use with the other body wash and shower scrub later in the year.

Thanks for the hugs guys, they are sorely needed and definitely help :(

I mean obviously I knew it would probably happen, but I still feel like all the life's been sucked out of me (sorry if I sound rather dramatic - but those are the only words I can think of which kind of describe how I'm feeling) :(

EH I hope you have a lovely holiday *hugs* I was thinking of sending him an email saying something along those lines. I also would like to just talk to him one last time - so going to try - giving it til the end of this week.

Kaz - that's exactly what I was trying to make him see. In making them happy, he's making a mistake as it's his future. He'll come round. He's a guy, I don't think they invest as much emotionally sometimes.

VALM - I did almost impulse/emotionally buy the Nails Inc TSV but I think we can all agree I probably have similar colours somewhere.

Super huge headache - caused by myself. Plus tired as I woke about 3.15 which is when I saw his email and just didn't really sleep after that. I may have said this before, but is it bad that I hope she's a total and utter cow?:(

charlie and sawan, you may not believe it now but things can get better.
When aged 20 the love of my life boyfriend sent me a "dear John" letter after 2 years together (the reason for which I never did discover)I thought it was the end of the world....turned out it wasn't ....5 years down the line after another man called me up (again after 2 years) to say actually he was going to marry someone else(woman who I had treated as a friend after her husband killed himself!!!) I met DH........32 years and 3 sons later HE is the love of my life:j:j:j

men who treat you badly do not deserve you

back to toiletries, started to use Occitanne honey and lemon body cream, lovely smell and arms soft since this morning,WIBA .....probably if on offer or gwp once got through all other stuff in stash.

sounds silly but after Bumble died even more determined not to buy loads os stuff I don't need.

saw a 12 year old cat needing a home in local paper who had markings just like Bumble, but it said she needed a home alone and anywya not fair on Purdy to get another cat,she is still moping and does not like going out alone.

off to spa weekend tomorrow so hope you all have a good weekend

Huge hugs to you Sawan, (and Charlie I hope you're ok). When you get hit by a shock like that Sawan, it's up there with being bereaved, in my book. Finally hearing that he had gone through with it was perhaps like a funeral, or hearing of a funeral, the ritual that makes it all too real.

None of us can say we know how you feel, because it is an experience so outside the norm. Wishing you a lot of strength and I truly hope you have someone safe to offer you real hugs and a sisterly shoulder.

I think it's very normal to hope that she's a total and utter cow, well at the moment, anyway.... Time does heal but sometimes it takes a lot of time...

Back on topic, welcome Alanis it's never too late. Are you up for listing your ' Beauty Room? '
Maybe you could take a leaf out of Viv H's book and go returning to the store... or perhaps that's a step too far just yet!

I have a very small UU In a flurry of bubbles, the 60ml BS White Musk Shower Gel that was c. 4/5 years old (gift set raffle prize a few years ago and it wasn't new then). I've kept the bottle and filled it with OS 2 in 1 hair wash and shower gel for my Easter break.
WIBA? I gave my views on overpriced shower gels yesterday! White Musk is a nice scent, but no.

Scalp is now itching much less from the Clairol Foam of a month ago, which is a relief. Tea - tree oil in leave in conditioner seems to be doing the trick. Now, I just have to wait a year or so for the colour to grow out. No sign of it fading in the slightest, I still look as black as I do brown, depending on the light. The odd grey is starting to show again, par for the course. On the plus side, the condition seems to have recovered, thankfully.

Sawan and Charlie - big big hugs to you both (((((((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))

EH - have a fantastic holiday
On the topic of ballistics, for those who don't like the 'bits' in some of them, I found it useful to get a pair of old/cheap tights, cut the foot off one of them, stick the ballistic in the foot and then tie it up tightly before you throw it in the bath. The colour still gets through the fibres but the bits stay in the foot.

    What a fab idea!! :T

I've told her I'm getting rid of it now. I will be her personal dresser which means she can't chose what to wear without adult supervision. Poor DH doesn't understand that there's nothing wrong with the clothes she has, just the combinations she chooses so he needs to be educated too. Oh it's so much fun being the Mum of girls isn't it?!
Oh and no UU's or Ins yet.

It's good when they drag you out shopping to give you a new look :D I think I'm lucky with my two - my only gripe is when they wear black/coloured/spotty bras under white tshirts - or a white bra under a black vest top like today!

Nope - it's never too late. Hiya and welcome

IN: oooooh.........I swear I only went in for glycerine (DS wants to make a snow globe), but saw W7 silver crackle and the most amazing nail varnish - a lovely purple. They had a gorgeous peacock blue/green one too (I think it was EH who mentioned one earlier today in Wilko) but thought that'd need very careful application :o. So two new nail polishes to add to the stash - I dont have many though and I'm sure dd2 will help me use them. :p
