There's a thread on Grabbit for a free pair of tights worth up to £6, postage free too, seems to work most conveniently on the plain black opaque ones. https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/3161640

Charlie, is there a "posh" street within walking/busride distance of home or a housing development? Door to door leaflet drop offering cleaning and/or ironing services. Retirement complexes are also good, many retired folks don't want to be doing their own chores and can often afford to pay for your services. I do this and I do okay, I'm not exactly "raking it in" but I make a living at it. I did a drop once at dusk, all the houses with no lights on got a leaflet as I assumed these were the homes where both partners were working. Out of about 12 houses I got work in 2 of them, 3 hours each house once a week, £8 an hour. Many people don't know how to go about finding a cleaner and struggle on until one shows up on their doorstep:)
The loan people sound ghastly!!! And 11k for 55 hours a week is £3.85 an hour  Even the basic 48 hours is only £4.40! That surely can't be right. Or legal.0 -

Gorgeous piccy Rosemary, what a gorgeous cat.
Charlie, I worl in a betting shop and it's pretty much the easiest job I've ever had (ad fun too), I mostly flirt with old men and smoke outside :rotfl: can be a bit boring but the customers are mostly lovely and friendly and like vivh says, the money tips are pretty good too! On a good week, I make about £30 in tips. You would only be excluded from betting in William Hill if you got the job (hope you do, the other one sounds horrendous)I want a perfect body, I want a perfect soul, I want you to notice when I'm not around0 -
OMG, it's arrived. Boots have a beautiful shelf full of CHAMPNEYS, lots of things I've never seen before too. It's right next to the sanctuary stuff. No offers on it though. Aaaanyway I have made a purchase, really wanted to try the oriental stuff and the bubble bath was £12 but they did round boxes with 50ml sizes of bubble bath, body wash, scrub and cream for £12 so I got that, it seemed better than just having bubble bath or the alternative was to buy full sizes of the complete range. The box is nice for use after too.
They also had a big, new display of Burts Bees, lots and lots of stuff, don't know why they have kept so quiet about it though.
Also bought S&F Facial wash, fab pore facial peel, some pantene mousse and a mini aussie shampoo. I had a £5 voucher for the last two items though.
Also went to Home Bargains and got Gum shampoo and conditioner and a £2 swarpkoff (sp?) hair colour. I have been so bad.
NNNOOOOOOOOoooooo!!!!! I was (sort of) doing well. Must.....stay.......strong.....rosemary54 wrote: »

Awww Rosemary - What a gorgeous cat.
Thanks Mags I got a pair of black opaque tights for me and also one for my mum.
Sorry to hear about the job woos charlie - I would be really worried about taking on a job there. Sounds like you are damned if you do damned if you don't...sleep on it and see what tomorrow brings.
Another UU for me today - Nicky Clarke Mousse. I still have some other cans of mousse to UU except that I don't need to use this at the moment. Since lobbing off my hair I find that mousse just doesn't work as well as a texturing spray. So WNBA but the product itself was ok.
I was off round the shops over the last few days as I have been annual leave. I managed to get a lovely wardrobe in one of the charity shops but I had a few sharp intakes of breath as some of the tolitery prices in some of those shops. One had a B**ts Royal Jelly 30mls body lotion in 10+ year old labeling with an asking price of £1.50?!? Also seen Fearne Cotton single eye shadow shimmer pot (one of the ones in the xmas sets) priced at £3
A wee local one had S & G Sexy Motherpucker going for 10p.
2 Ins - GUM Hairspray at 99p each from a new Home Bargains store nearer to me(On reflection maybe not such a good thing :rotfl:)
Will not be able to join in tonight's product party as my mum is still staying over and we will be watching a film - Unstoppable.

Thank you for sharing your beautiful girl Bumble with us.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0 -
