Is is the Soap and Glory Glow set you have since Christmas. I have 2 unopened :o

Sadly not! I think the glow set from S&G is the only thing from the S&G range I haven't got (yet...) :rotfl:

Thanks for the tips ladies, i'll give it a go later :T After buying some remover wipes just in case I end up looking tango'd:o:rotfl:

Charlie, I think you've made the right choice about the job. It sounds awful and it would have made finding a new job really difficult by the sound of things. Hopefully the perfect job will come along soon:T Good luck:D

Most cars tend rust from the sills. That's one thing I hate, telling somebody their car's failed the MOT. Most are understanding, but some are so aggressive it's frightening :(

Where's the oil leaking from? (It's scary how sometimes the maths geek in me comes out and how sometimes the car fanatic does :o - the makeup part of me is always there though :p)

But you'd all be proud of me, I resisted today's Nails Inc offers. The two sets of four I have most of the colours, but the set of five I have none, and though I reallllly wanted, I didn't give in and buy *phew*

    Hope you're feeling ok Rosemary.

Don't stress Charlie. Are you on track to hand the dissertation in today?

ETA: The Elemis toner has now got the spray head removed, so I can pour it onto cotton wool to apply liberally to my face. And it's still going :(

Ahhh! It's great to have a mechanic on the board!

Basically my filter is sooooo cogged up from years of not servicing it (not my fault, honest guv!) that it needs the filter changing and a complete oil change. Now the problem is that I live in Manchester which is 100 miles away from my Uncle who is a car-modger :) so i"m going to get the filter changed in Manc. then travel back (fingers crossed and praying for the engine not to seize) for him to do the oil change.

I don't understand why anyone would get aggressive about failing an MOT? Yes, it can be expensive but you kind of accept that when you get a car...

If it's that badly clogged Mingle then it sounds like you're likely to need a second filter and oil change in a few months. Just be gentle with the car until it's done though as you don'[t want a blown head-gasket. If you notice any loss of power or the engine suddenly going up in temperature while you're driving stop and call your breakdown service - I was lucky when my head gasket went years ago on my Renault 5 - in spite of there being smoke pouring out of the engine by the time I managed to get stopped it did no major damage, although there were a few things that never quite worked the same after though and I got a huge telling off from my mechanic for basically killing my car! :o (He always used to say that the previous one committed suicide after I sold her so this was a bit of a joke! - the chap from the garage was driving her and one of the engine mounting bolts sheered off - the engine slipped sideways, cut the fuel feed pipe into the engine and she quietly "bled" to death on the hard shoulder - RIP Jemima! :rotfl:)

Forgive me ladies for I have sinned.....but I think you may agree it was a worthy sinning, so I beg your forgiveness to allow me to avoid the naughty-step.....
On the market this morning one of the stalls was selling little nivea branded plastic drawstring bags - each one contains a mini deodorant, 2 single-use pots of Nivea Soft, 10 Sachets of Dry Skin body moisturiser, and 10 muti-part sachets with the visible radiance scrub/moisturiser and eye cream - for £1 each!! I got two, but felt they were such a bargain, even if I don't use them until next year's holiday it was still worth getting. £2 well spent IMO - I will add them to my travel-stuff stash list.

Also have a job application currently off with William Hill as it goes - had an online test the other day but waiting to hear back on that one (wonder if I become exempt from betting if I got that?)....

Only at William Hill I think - I used to be a croupier and we weren't allowed to go to our own casinos but could go to other brands :D

I worked for one of the big bookmakers and you just need good maths, to be quick and good CS.

We've just been to William Hill (to put our national bets on :p) and it all seems computerised now - like the lottery - you just tick boxes and they put it in the reader :D

The loan people sound ghastly!!! And 11k for 55 hours a week is £3.85 an hour  Even the basic 48 hours is only £4.40! That surely can't be right. Or legal.

Minimum Wage for under 21yo is £4.92ph. I know I said before that a job is a job - but I have to agree with your OH and others that I wouldn't take it - sounds horrendous

If you have a good quality shower puff, you probably only need 2-3 mls to cover your entire body with lovely suds.

    I think that's the key though - a good quality one :D
Also just sprayed one shoulder with St Moriz fake tan to see how dark it is, I now can't be bothered to do the rest of myself ... think I might just do the other shoulder and claim that I caught the sun:rotfl:

    :rotfl::rotfl:

Rosemary - fab picture :D I have a dog who likes boxes - I'll try and find a pic :p

I love Simon's Cat too - very funny and soooo true :rotfl:

Right - guess it's time for me to take my place on the naughty step :o:o

    IN's

    Body Shop
Aloe Comforting Bath Oil - this at least was free as it's an old one (2005) my Mum doesn't use :D
Hemp Foot Protector (mini) - again free from Mum (she loves the hand cream but none of the other bits in the range :D)
Hemp Lip Protector - as above
Hemp Body Butter (mini) - as above
    Spiced Vanilla Showergel x 2 - 1 sale & 1 Free
Spiced Vanilla Body Butter - sale
Spiced Vanilla Body Scrub - sale
Wild Cherry Body Lotion x 2 - sale
Wild Cherry Body Butter - sale
Wild Cherry Body Scrub (mini) - Free

    Boots
Expert Sensitive Conditioner x 3 (clearance)
Santuary Hot Cloth Cleanser (300 points voucher plus Free GWP)
Sanctuary Lip Plumper (in clearance - £1.80)
Essentials Cucumber Face Scrub ( picked up wrong product - meant to get Face Mask )

Impulse Purse Sprays gift set - delayed xmas pressie
Nivea Glitter Lips gift set - delayed xmas pressie

I didn't set out to buy the conditioner - I have enough :rotfl: but I had a £5 off WYS £20 coupon and when all the ACM coupons/points coupons/GWP coupons (I had one for the parenting club) had been added up I had to add more to my spend to make it back up to £20 :p and I was right by the clearance stand :D

I did ask the SA in BS if the sale was likely to go to BOGOF again and she said they hadn't heard anything and they 'usually' don't do BOGOF except after xmas - so we shall see :p ( I waited until after I had paid too so she wasn't just saying it to get me to spend :rotfl:) I now have two £10 off WYS £25 vouchers for May *rollseyes* :rotfl:

    UU's
BS Spiced Vanilla Showergel: WIBA? :rotfl: I've been using this as showergel, handwash and shampoo - love it love it love it :happyhear
Boots Expert Sensitive Conditioner: WIBA? :rotfl: Love this too - especially as I can use it as a treatment as well :T
Miss Cole Bed & Butter Body Butter: WIBA? For texture and skin kindness? Yes - For smell? Nooooo :p Lovely, thick and creamy but just too antiseptic-y for me :( Wouldn't be disappointed with it as a gift though :D

I'm using a CK Euphoria Body Lotion at the moment - I've had to decante it out of the bottle into a tub - but it's it's got like a black oily residue in bits of it  No effects to my skin as yet but I'm keeping an eye on it :(

I had a lovely time with my Mum - I only get to see her 2/3 times a year :( It's hard though because they are struggling sooo much - I know OH and I aren't able to help fianancially but I can keep her spirits up by making sure she has nice pamper-y things occasionally - things she sees as a waste of money (which - really, in basic terms they are - as mcculloch proved - they could cope with a spend of £20ish a year on basics) but I see them as essential to my mental health :D

Hope you are all enjoying the sunshine  I hate it - much prefer the winter :D *sigh*

    another small UU:j:

Lush angel's delight soap (I think) sample- WNBA even though I bought a large chunk at christmas:o my skin feels really dry now, wasn't too keen on the smell and the soap felt cheap, but costs about £3 for a 100g bar:eek: managed to use a generous sample in one shower as well so not exactly MSE. Only available at christmas anyway.

I think Lush soaps are very overpriced for what they are (but I do love HIWTK and rockstar) and they run out very quickly. Think I will stick to dove soap:)

Sent off my yummy yummy yummy to Lush and have asked for HIWTK as a replacement :T

we went to buy some pebbles to put round Bumble's grave (then put membrane on top and bark chip and planted a London Pride plant through it) and it looks lovely but the strange thing is the pebbles were called rainbow mix!!!!!and they did look like they had little rainbows on!:)
