What a terrible shock and upset for you, Rosemary. Please accept my sympathies and hugs too.
I've had a lovely refreshing shower this evening and in the process uu a Dove Go Fresh Cucumber and Tea Tree Body Wash. I'm now moving on to a No. 7 Blissful Body Wash (must hide it from Kaz though!).0 -
Oh, I also finished off a The Body Shop vitamin E cleanser that was going off. I already have another set in the stash0

Oh Rosemary, i'm so sorry to hear about Bumble... hope you and Purdy are ok.... I lost my cat last year at 11 (liver failure) and it still hurts...mcculloch29 wrote: »Grief is the price we pay for love, whether it is from a human being or for (and from) an animal. Thats a beautiful sentiment to remember, thank you for sharing.
I'm rather impressed with myself today, went to Debenhams, Boots and BS and bought...... nothing....... You're not going to believe this.... I just couldn't be bothered  The SA's really annoyed me, asking if they could help all the time..... Why can't they just let us look???

just wanted to share with you all as we support each other a lot
Rosemary, just sending my love and hugs and purrs from my furry babies.0 -
Which ones were those? I used to buy burgers with apple in from tesco's that were gorgeous, but seem to be discontinued now.
I hate Tesco's own brand quorn mince - the texture is awful
I think they were called Tesco meat free chicken style fillets, they were yummy BF even preferred them to chicken and they were free on SW:)Debt free and busy treating myself:)
No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales0 -
Rosemary, sorry to hear about your cat. As a fellow cat lover I couldn't imagine losing a pet like that.
For those of you who had little faith about me going to the Avon party I have to say ...
... you were right
I was adamant that I wasn't going to buy anything and even flicking through the book and choosing stuff didn't actually order anything, but she had a clearance table and one of the nail varnishes took my fancy. I would have stuck to just the one but one of the other girls talked me into getting another one too. In my defence I don't have either of the colours and my nail varnish stash is no where near as bad as some of the others on here. A couple of the girls there were giving me tips on how to paint my toe nails so something good did come out of it :rotfl:
Oh, I did also pick up a couple of samples of Anew Reversalist eye cream as I don't have any eye cream in my stash apart from the one I'm using so need to try and find another one. The only thing is one half is illuminating veil and the other is eye cream so not sure how I'm supposed to use it.Did owe £9,951.96
Now helping hubby pay off loan. Finally paid off :j

shampoo, toothpaste, deodrant, shower gel TOTAL £5.09 for a YEAR
You would not beleive this....I just had my phone interview - if you can call it that. they basically asked me evrything I put on the application form....Half way through OH rang me twice on my mobile so the phone kept beeping at me, then he rang the house phone so I had that going off in my ear too...Not the best to concentrate lol....But they did ask me to come in tomorrow for a proper formal interview...now to find my way to cwmbran on the bus!
For some reason they seemed incredibly interested in what other jobs Id applied for and how many...didnt really want to awnser that one
I don't want to sound negative, but they seem to be messing you around rather a lot - not a sign of a good employer? Take care here....rosemary54 wrote: ».I know in the bigger scheme of things the death of a little cat is not much but I think if we did not care about the little things in life we would be poorer for it.
That is so not true and you and all us cat lovers know it- I am giving all my cats extra hugs tonight. I am sure that all our cats live their lives by the Pink Candle philosophy - they enjoy each day, none of our silly worries, just nice food and a warm lap. When the time comes, we all meet up at the Rainbow Bridge - sorry if this is too sad:
Rainbow Bridge
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....Less stuff, more life, love, laughter and cats!
Even if I'm on the shopping threads, it doesn't mean I'm buying! Sometimes it's good to just look and then hit the CLOSE button!0 -
