*snipped*
They do 2 other flavours of the same size for the same price. A shea butter and an aloe. I included all 3 in my list because I felt that the variety would spice things up for the poor old bored to death of cheap smellies people.
I estimated the shower gel amounts on the fact that the 200ml No7 body wash has lasted me since August.
I have another UU... The nivea in the white bottle. All 3 of those are now UU. WIBA?: Nope. I wouldn't even get them for DH. There are nicer cheaper products IMHO. He is not overly fussed as long as he has something and he's using an orange bottle of some such stuff atm which he's had on the go for ages. Even if the other stuff is more expensive for DH, at least he'll use it. I swear he brought these with him when we moved here (nearly 6 years ago!).
I have got out the No7 cocooning body butter for my next use. I have also left out the BS hemp foot protector for every day use now as we're getting heavily towards sandal weather so I want to keep the tootsies looking good.
I really must not forget to go into work early tonight, I'm ever so worried I'll forget about the change in shift times and be late!
Can't remember who it was earlier asking about summer perfumes (sorry) but another nice one is Davidoff cool water. It's not too expensive IIRC. It has nice grapefruity tones. A friend was raving about the Hugo Boss orange one too, I've never tried it. Be warned though, I do have funny skin and most perfumes smell horrid on me
.
Nighty night all. One UU: Superdrug Plum and something that I can not remember (possibly cherry?) exfoliating shower gel WBA, I loved the scent, don't know if it really exfoliated though but I think they were on some strange offer ages ago wyb 3, so 2 friends and I split it up. I want to try the conditioner and shampoo in the same range, went in the other day and they are on 2 for £1.80, so:money:
On the other hand, I had some finds, I wouldn't call them INs as I just failed to count them in the first place:
Boots mini banana intensive conditioner
Toni & Guy conditioner
Botanics bodyscrub, never opened and I really can't get the lid off
Forgot to mention, I've been invited to a make up party, v. excited but I am going to limit myself to £50 spend as it's YSL, Dior, MAC etc. at cheapo prices
That sounds like a good party to get an invite to....have fun
Oh rosemary54 I am so sorry to hear what has happened - sending you big hugs xxMy car failed its MOT today. Does anyone know of any toiletries that can be used for welding? I need a pick me up... DRAG ME AWAY FROM THE BODY SHOP, PLEASE!

thank you so much ladies for all the kind thoughts.the house feels so empty as Dh away so just Purdy and me left.Have already told 1 son in USA by email and spoken to 3rd son ,now just waiting for 2nd son to call me after I texed him as did not want to call him at work.
Purdy has been by my side all day and I am sure she knows something is wrong.DH said she ran away from Bumble and seemed frightened:(
She is the 3rd cat I have lost to a car but the other 2 were when I lived with my parents and did not live as long so guess I was not as close to them.At night if we were in together DH and I usually had a cat each on our knees whilst we watched TV.
I know 11 is a good age for a cat but my last was one 19 so who knows she may have had many more years. How anyone copes with the sudden death of a loved one I can't imagine.I am at my laptop in the kitchen and Purdy is looking out of the window into the garden as if expecting Bumble to come home soon,it is so sad.
sorry to ramble.I know in the bigger scheme of things the death of a little cat is not much but I think if we did not care about the little things in life we would be poorer for it.
I will try and do the beauty thing tonight as planned(bath/pedicure etc) if only because when I went to cuddle DH as he buried Bumble he stood on my toe and chipped my nail varnish and don't want to be reminded of that tomorrow when I wake up.
watched that saving programme again last night and apart from wondering how mrs moneypenny would actaully help a poor family!had to laugh as Lady X making " cheap" handcream as the cost of the ingredients see used would set you back a fortune even if they did give enough stuff to last for years!!!0 -
@rosemary the cat
I am so sorry, don't know what to say, that's just so horrible and so upsetting.

Rosemary you just brought a lump to my throat saying about your other cat looking out of the window, it's so sad. I don't have cats but spent a whole weekend in tears recently when we found a lump on our dogs neck. Pets just become such a part of the family. My OH has said that he will never get another pet if anything happens to our dog as he just can't cope when anything happens to them. Sending you lots of love and cuddles....Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:0 -
Evening everyone, been naff at keeping up with the thread so will report my ins and then read back.
Ins
S&G sugar Crush big stuff as loved the mini tub I had
S&G glad hair conditioner
I paid for these with my mr b points, so dont really think a stay on the naughty step is required is it?!
Also body shop duo gift set of body wash and perfume, this was a late b'day pressie from a friend.
Think that is all, although have been tempted by some listings on ebay for new s&g items. Hope everyone is well and I will be back once I finally catch up!0 -
Rosemary hugs to you and her sister. What a horrible thing for someone to do and then run away.
I have 2 INs to report
Arm and Hammer advanced whitening tooth paste
Neutrogena Blackhead removing face scrub
Both are courtesy of Tesco DTD
Also have few UUs
Lush honey I washed the kids soap - WIBA? May be.. I like it but it finishes very quickly so not much moneysaving
Lush ice blue soap - Wnba - a little drying for the skin and doesn't lather at all
TBS cocoa butter hand lotion - wnba as I haven't been very impressed with TBS stuff for the price. This was bought in Christmas sale so was okay

Hugs to rosemary:( they're part of the family and it must be terrible for her sister
some more UU:
avon pearl scrub- WNBA- can't, discontinued but was cheap and did the job. I don't think I will bother with scrubs anymore, they just seem to leave bits all over (especially in the bath:eek:) and messy to use so I think I'll just buy myself some exfoliating gloves next time. More:money:as well. Still have a Lush fairy tail and mini moringa to use though.
Impulse goddess body spray-WIBA? I don't think so, it was nice, light and summery fragrance but I prefer london and I think S&G body sprays will work out cheaper as I go through Impulse quite quickly.Toiletry spend £34.95 In: 10 out:130 -
Grief is the price we pay for love, whether it is from a human being or for (and from) an animal. I would rather have had the love for all the animals I have had - and all the human loved ones I have lost - than not had it.Erma Bombeck, American writer: "If I had my life to live over again... I would have burned the pink candle, sculptured like a rose, that melted in storage." Don't keep things 'for best' - that day never comes. Use them and enjoy them now.0
