Evening all
Wet and miserable here, and I'm full of my boss's cold
(((((Bitsy and Snoozer ))))
Happy birthday Floss x
Very busy day at work sorting out lots of admin. It was the last day of my work kids work placement and therefore my last day of peace and quiet
and had lots of admin to sort out cos I lost 3 days this week due to my course. Although I am looking forward to seeing them tomorrow, it's been quiet without them :rotfl:.
I've been starving all day due to this cold
and I look like rudolph :rotfl:. Hopefully I'll feel better tomorrow.
OS wise - very little
Have a good evening all

), 2 boxes of choccies, flowers, 2 Imelda May CD's and some Sanctuary smellies.
Hugs to all who need / would like one
Love Floss xx

Not good though that's he's losing it both ends
What is he eating at the moment? How is he when he's not eating? OK in himself? Is he being sick due to the drinking fluids? Really it's been 5 days which for a poor wee thing his age is too much. Have they ruled out any food poisoning?
Hugs for you lou and feel free to moan xx
it has taken me about 3hrs or so to get 2oz of water into him
he's not really eating anything tbh other than bananas! very whingy today and lethargic. but only slept for an hour. has been sleeping 6-7hrs during the day then 12-13 a night
he just seems to be randomly sick - not particaulary after he has eaten/drank. when he eats though, it goes through him straight away

Evening everyone
I have been MIA due to spending last week with my DD during and after her move and when I got back have been on a bit of a downer at being home and no little DGDs running round me!
Have read the thread today and taken some of it in but due to missing loads want to send hugs to those who have bad times and happy birthdays to those who have had one!
The move went ok, they are settled into the new house and the girls are loving the bigger garden. I loved being there and waking up each morning to eldest DGD saying hello nanny did you sleep well. bless her.
I do have a question for you...and if you think I should post this as a new thread let me know. My DD used under her bed as storage ( as a lot of us do!) when they cleared it, she found that the leak that should have been mended, it was, but has still leaked slightly, this was enough to go under the floor from the bathroom to under their bed where she was storing her wedding dress, she hadn't noticed this, it was stored in a very sturdy box, the one she bought to take it abroad when they got married. Well damp got in and the dress has stains and mould on it. She was very upset and told her DH to take it to the dump, we discussed this behind her back and OH bought the dress back to ours, since getting home I have read the label which says it can't be washed or dry cleaned, spot cleaning only....any ideas?????
Better go now, just had a Mr T delivery and I need to get it packed away.
Have a good night everyone and cyas soon xxxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Dazi what exactly are the fabrics of the dress?
Hugs for snoozer, so sorry to hear your dad's bad news. xxx
Hugs for Bitsy NPM and Loulou too.
Had a busy day today again, just about to make dinner.
I hope you like the book, Flutterby, I've just spent an hour in the car at football practice with the boys (it was blowing a hoolie here too) rereading it, it lives in my handbag and looks a lot older than a month.

Jackie am copying from the label
One side says do not wash do not dry clean spot clean by hand if necessary, air dry ( have had the dress out on line to kill off any mould spores)
The other side says Tissu: 100% polyester Tuile 100% nylon
am not worried about the under skirts as can cut and replace but cant do that to the top bit...am not that skilled! It has beading on it, there is a little bit of damage to the beading but think I can deal with that. I was thinking of asking local dry cleaners if they have any suggestions.whoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Evening all,
Cold here to-day, windy but very little rain...just the odd shower.
Happy birthday Floss, glad to see its been a good one.
Uolypool....take it easy, shingles can be nasty.
halight....do you mind if I don't take you up on that offer thanks...another time maybe.
Hugs to Bitsy, NPM and Loulou.
Snoozer....sorry to hear about your dad.
Dinner to-night was spag bol, turned out fine, have at least 6 portions to put in freezer when they are cold enough, very handy I find....OH won't eat lasagne or I would do some as well. Pudding was stewed rhubarb, seems to be doing very well this year.
My printer has been acting up, going to buy a new one to-morrow, also some more memory as even having put lots of things on disks there is very little room on hard drive...that's my intention but depends on how the mind is working to-morrow, there are days when I find it physically impossible to spend money unless on something absolutely vital! DD3 is coming with me so doubtless she will bully me if necessary.
Need to visit doctor soon to have prescriptions renewed, really not happy with the one we go to now, he's fine really but I still miss the guy we went to for 35 years who had the cheek to retire! Not feeling at my best, tired and craving carp all the time....its like being newly pregnant, which would be a bit of a miracle, but could happily sleep for 18 hours a day if left to it....not normal I reckon.
Have now had 3 swimming lessons and am getting there....not as fast as the others I think but not bothered about that, the aim is to learn to swim, not become an Olympic champion.
Hugs to all in need or want, sleep well
