caught up on lots of small jobs and I can see my washing blowing nicely on the line so i am just about to get it in and ironed so that will be another job jibbed so to speak. All my Uni work is gone so I can relax for a couple of months at least until the results come back.I also have a few spuds to peel and mash to go in the freezer rather than bin and I will use up the bit of cheese as well in the mash (nowt gets chucked in frugal towers ):):) apart from packing my grip which I can do after History class tomorrow I am all in front of myself for once . I make a list of to-do things that actually HVE to be done and just work my way through them .Just going to dig out my camera and battery chargers,I'm on a roll today ,must be the bright sunshine thats in North Kent at the moment.
have a good one what ever you are doing
    Cheers Chums
P.S. don't forget its April Fools day tomorrow !!!

Or tape oven mitts to your hands ;)

when DS had chicken pox he had baths in bicarb, to help dry out the spots. Not sure if shingles is similar but might help x

Back again folks. Well I found our lovely little library in the local school. It's not huge by any means but I still managed to find 4 books I wanted. The staff were very helpful and apparently I can order books I want from the online catalogue and they'll be delivered for me to collect. I'm now off to browse 'The Ration Book Diet' that I borrowed and maybe have a look at the catalogue to see if there's anything else I fancy getting. All this reading should take my mind off the lack of cigarettes....6 days nicotine free and counting!

Grrr so much for being OS. The high winds have blown over my green house (which was weighted down with huge stones and guy ropes!) and I've lost my tomatoes, onions, broccoli and sprouts as well as my flowers. Will have to bo out and buy new seeds too. Grrrr!
Me, OH, grown DS, (other DS left home) and Mum (coming up 80!). Considering foster parenting. Hints and tips on saving £ always well received. Xx

March 1st week £80 includes a new dog bed though £63 was food etc for the week.

Hows he doing with his drinking?

Not good though that's he's losing it both ends :(
What is he eating at the moment? How is he when he's not eating? OK in himself? Is he being sick due to the drinking fluids? Really it's been 5 days which for a poor wee thing his age is too much. Have they ruled out any food poisoning?

Hugs for you lou and feel free to moan xx

Busy day off (from work!), managed to have a nice walk, do shopping (food and other) and have an hour or so in the garden. Only tidying the greenhouse and scrubbing pots but it all needs doing.

Jacket potato in the oven cos I still haven't put away all the shopping, finished the ironing mountain, changed the bed or tidied. Oh nor hoovered! So much for a day off.

Oh and I managed to finish my OU assignment bar some checking!!

WM been on and dried outside too.

Got to set new printer up too - bought a new one which broke after 10 days so swapped it, I hasten to add for a different model!

    Busy busy!

    Hello peeps,

Work today which was great. Got payslip - which was even greater:)

Had got lo meat & gravy out of the freezer this morning and made Meat Rogan when I got home. DH made Chicken Tikka and I made a couple of Maddhur Jaffrey recipes - Black-eyed beans and Mushrooms & Saag Aloo. All very quick really apart from the Tikka. Fed 7.

Thought I was childminding this evening but not so, so an evening for myself. Need to do planning for tomorrow.

Grey and wet all day, now it's lovely and sunny!! Couldn't have taken advantage of good drying weather anyway as at work.

Just read a little of the thread.
Lou your little man seems to be having a very poorly time at the moment. Hugs to both of you.
JackieO I hope you have a fantastic time away and I hope the weather is clement. It is good for the soul to have a change of scenery, even if home is where the heart is:)
Esmf - oh how awful. We have a polytunnel in a sheltered corner but the way weather is changing it might not be sheltered for long. Hugs.

Happy Thursday evening to you all, hugs to those that need or want,
    Cheers m'dears, Silver x
