    Morning everyone.

In a total grump today :o H's scooter has broken down again. Stupid piece of complain.gif (you can fill in the expletives). I've been telling him for ages to get it booked in and he's ignored it and just stuck with using the kick start. Grrrr dithering just like his dad does, all because I don't want him to have to lug it to Halesowen where he bought it from. Why not use somewhere that's closer.
Having a fit about the state of the house. No matter what I do the carpet gets stained (kids/H/cat), bl00dy toys everywhere arrrrrgh and H WILL not remember how to take his outdoor shoes off when he goes upstairs !!!!!!. I mean he's nearly 39 not 5 so how come the kids can manage to do it but not him.

If you hear someone screaming it's just me :o

Sorry not being very positive or upbeat today but weather is vile, am tired and just feeling sorry for myself.
No hugs required need what my dad would says is a foo foo pill :rotfl:

Floss - Happy birthday, have a lovely day present.gif

Tiger - will send you a PM xx

Hugs, spoons and high fives all round. Have a good day OS or not

I did not know that you lived close to me!!:j:j
Now it might be know were near you but have has your OH ever took his bike to QB bikes in quarry bank? When i had my bike before i was ill i use to use them and found them great, might be a bit far for your OH to take it.?

I take it that he had his bike from street bikes? I dont rate them much but i do know folk who always use them and would not dream of useing anyone else,

As for a house being a tip and toys being everywere you really should pay use a vist! iut will make your place look like an oil painting!!!!
I hope you day gets better.:):)

I have an itchy side this morning and having looked in the mirror I have a patch on my side that has about 20 spots that look like blisters but are so itchy:eek::eek:. How many times can you have chicken pox:question::question:

uolypool if you've already had chicken pox, it might be shingles. Are the spots in a sort of band around one side? I only ask because my Mum's just recovering from a bout of it now and she just woke up with very similar sounding spots one day. Do they sort of prickle when they itch? I'd pop along to the doctors if they do - also, I think I've heard of people getting chicken pox more than once  Sorry to be a harbinger of doom :o

Oh and Floss have a lovely birthday chick xx

Hi yes and yes, I had chicken pox about 30 years ago whilst on a weeks camping trip with school:eek:.They thought they were bites;);)

Guess I will have to phone Gp surgery about them. This could explain why I have been feeling rubbish over the past few days

uolypool - that's exactly what my Mum said that they felt like bites  At least if it is shingles not chicken pox, they can give you some anti-viral thingys for it. IIRC you have to just wait for chicken pox to do it's thing and work it's way out. Hopefully you'll start feeling better after a couple of days xx

Morning all :hello: - Welcome newbies

Uolypool - Demand to a Dr PDQ, the faster you get treatment for Shingles the less impact it has, don't be put off, see one today.

    :bdaycake: Floss

:grouphug: A Dodgy Hug for all who look like they need one (quite a few at the moment).

Life is good at Casa DG, manic in places, had to re-build my PC yesterday while staggering the ironing to avoid side/back ache (the new Ironing Board) has not solved it )

Garden now spruced up for spring, we have now got 3 dwarf apple trees, and a double plum tree in, together with 4 Blueberry bushes in tubs and 3 roots of rhubarb (only one shown its head so far), all amongs the shrubs and flowers :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: The Plum tree is now blossoming nicely, and all the others are shooting.

Went to Lidl and Sainsbugs yesterday, and stocked DS & GF up for their move into their first flat together at the weekend, we will not see them until next weekend, as this one will be manic, so they will have to manage for a week, until we get there. I got them Washing Powder, Conditioner, cleaners, cloths and loads of Pasta/Indian Sauces, and Rice from Lidl, as well as some meat and fresh stuff for us, not forgetting Bread Flour. At Sainsbugs got some of their Basics Pasta, and some reduced bronzed pasta which they love, but will need to eeek it out. I also have some storage boxes and tea towels, pesto, etc I picked up at Aldi last week, and our old Microwave Combi is going their way too, plus old ironing board and iron. GF's Mum is getting them some new bedding and pans, and I am just wondering if rented flats usually come with a hoover? or if they will need one of those too. Also found some clothes for me in Sainsbugs too :D:D

It is only a 1 bedroom place, so will take our 'van down to a site about 10 miles away and stay down there for a few days.

Managed to get Mount Everest down to the Pennines yesterday, so will finish that today.

    Take care all DG

    Morning all!

Wet and windy here again! Was up and about early as took dd1 into school today, she had an A1 sized canvas to take in ready for her exam next week - I'm still pondering exactly what the art dept at her school provide other than a desk and chair! Remembered to sign letters for dd2, trip to Alton Towers as apparently her year have been so good, hmmm not sure why they're letting her go on it after she's been in quite so much bother, and handed over a deposit cheque, and letter for dd3 accompanied by £10 for a trip to Montacute House. Don't object to this as it's a fantastic place and they are studying the tudors next term. ds also needs money for a biology field trip, but he forgot to take it, quite impressed as only £14, similiar trip when he was at school was close on £70!

OS today has involved a quick hoover, mop, wm loading, and tidying. Need to load dw and S&S kitchen before I go to work and sort out kids' dinner, which tonight is chicken pie, new pots and veg.

Saw spudette's daddy last night, think the problem is that he is only just grasping that she will be here in a few months, also that he's used to controlling everything in his life and I don't really respond well to that sort of behaviour! Anyway, he seems fairly excited about having a daughter, he already has two boys, and seems to have plans for the future - though as always I'm not holding my breath!

Anyway have a good day all, I'm going to have a read back now and then dig out some clothing vouchers (for anyone who doesn't know Tesco currently have a voucher for £5 off when you spend £25 on clothing, and in our store there is still a fair bit of sale stock) xxx

Halight - I am not that close to you. Live in home of the Land Rover ;) H bought his bike from Speedway in Blackheath (I said Halesowen for those that have a vague recollection of West Mids). It's bloomin' miles from where we live, there is a place my dad knows in Erdington which OK isn't that close but since H worked in town he could have dropped off the bike in his lunch hour.

Ulypool - Sounds like shingles to me. Stay away from any pregnant persons ;) Hope you feel better soon.

JulieG - thanks for the hugs, you're a sweetie. It's probably them female hormones and tiredness turning me into a witch today LOL
