PaddyPaws - not really, it seems to be very randon what they offer to whom, no logical rule.

Glad you got it though :)
  • Just to say I'm absolutely loving the BioKat microfresh litter. I've just been scooping and topping up and it still smells fresh! No stinky smells!
    I have a simple philosophy:
Fill what's empty. Empty what's full. Scratch where it itches.

  • Have to say .... I'm loving the GG more & more - apart from one BIG negative

It is so easy to clean out (the BK is good but I can't believe how much easier the GG is):T

Honestly, if your tray is somewhere (cupboard etc) where tracking doesn't matter then this is an absolutely wonderful product :)

BUT - if not, and tracking does matter then ..... sadly :(

I'm going to have to take everything out her room tomorrow and give it a good hoover in there as it is all over the room and I certainly couldn't have it somewhere where it wasn't contained as I do think it would end up absolutely everywhere:eek:

    BUT ...... I love it :o

  • I am a very recent clumping litter convert - with 4 cats that are indoor only (they get out with me into communal garden for an hour or so a day but that is all), I was going through masses of cat litter, coming up to like £40-£50 per month.

Having tested various litters (had a long thread on here) I now stick to MulticatLitter which is around £5.50 per 7kg bag and that bag, with my 4 cats lasts me a whole week. I have an extra large extra deep cat litter box that I empty the whole 7kg bag into and only ick the clumps - believe me with 4 cats I am forever picking those LOL

I guess for one cat that bag would last you well over a month - for £5.50 it would not be so bad I guess?

They sell them at Pets at Home, this is the one that I personally buy and swear by now:

They also do normal (not multi cat) version for the same price:

    The link to the product:

I too tried Catsan but it was no way as efficient as this one....

    Also tried PAT own brand:

But that one was only 2 litres (and only a £1 cheaper) so the Clean and Tidy is much more better - more of it, lasts longer.

    All the best

After reading this entire thread I decided to try out this Clean and Tidy (non multi-cat) litter and I must say I am really impressed!!! Barely any dust, clumps really well so very easy to pick bits out, and no smell whatsoever (apart from the intial stink-bomb of course, but what are you gonna do).

    Thanks for the tip!

Clrean and Tidy is very good, was getting it before my cat numbers increased ;)

But also think this way - 19.90 f0r 32 bags of GG. 1bag (so around £10 ) lasts my 6 cats 2 week so the same bag would lasts 1 cat probably 2 months... so under £5.00 per month ;)

That factor was very tempting I can't lie ;) however I think tracking would be an issue for us as the litter tray is very much out in the open :(

I didn't like the pong of litter so will continue to use it, hoping the GG granules are larger (zooplus delivery was long & so I couldn't wait & am using up the PAH ultra clumping first).

Will get a mat for outside the boxes to trap the bits from going further astray - where is cheapest anyone?
  • PAH do a small one for a fiver.

GG granules are sand like, very small
  • OMG the scoop (have done another order :o) is absolutely enormous:eek:

I also managed to order the wrong GG so I hope that this one is as good

Came home to find box propped up against the garage door (which was unlocked) in the torrential rain  so it is absolutely soaked through (have no idea if litter is salveagable - Yodel usually good here but absolutely:mad::mad:)

What eejit would carry box around to the garage & then not put it in:mad:

(polite note on front door "delivery - please leave in garage, thanks" which has always been followed until today)

Have also ordered a smaller tray for Mia (she doesn't need the ginormous one) - in between size http://www.amazon.co.uk/Catit-Jumbo-Hooded-Litter-Tray/dp/B0057XF6U4/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384970203&sr=8-1&keywords=catit+jumbo+litter+box so hopefully she will get on OK with it & I'll make some savings on litter! (other option was a Bill 2 which was 3cm wider .... but nearly double the price  so not worth it unfortunately)
