So now the Biocat is same price as Golden Grey....
Back to Golden Grey Master for me then - was using Biocat as was cheaper and almost as good as Golden Gray - I was using Glden Grey Master (with bits of silica in it this one comes)0 -
The biokat litter I use is definitely scented (had my head in the storage tin this morning, OH now thinks I'm slightly crazier than usual) but it's grey not white. Don't know wether to stick with it or give something else a go.0

I was using the 14.99 for 2 bags too, so no more?
It would appear not .... and really annoying as it was fab!

That did make me chuckle!:D
I've ordered some of the "mens" one - I think the granules are slightly biggerbut worth a go I guess
I've also ordered some of the scented one (the finer granules)
Wondering if I could put the bigger granules in when I top up the tray & then top up with the scented ones?
It not, I'll just need to use one lot, then the other
Thinking I may have to switch to Golden Grey (especially if the new Biokats they're stocking is a lot more expensivethat's £9 - a lot!)
GR is there any particular GG you use or are they pretty much all the same?

I've order the Bioman - cos I have 1 female & 1 male cat. I had been mixing fullers earth with wood chip but with winter on our heels decided closed windows (moneysaving on heating - ie not having bathroom window open all the time where the litterboxes reside) it was a good idea to trial it!0

The one I have used is this one - will be going back to it now:

mmmmm think they might be phasing out the "old stuff" and starting to only keep the new stuff which is a LOT more expensive
There's no 2 x 15L of the scented ones now!
So ..... changed Archie's tray today & put in the "mens" Biokats ..... it's OK
The grains are def bigger (but they're actually not as big as I was worrying they were going to bewhich is good) BUT it does seem a lot more dusty
It still clumps really wellso will def use up BUT I don't think I'll get it again - I think I'd rather pay the bit extra and try the Golden Grey
I bought 2 lots (4 bags) - one bag plus a little has gone in his (enormous!) tray so the other bag will hopefully top it up for around 6 weeks :T
I'll stick 2 bags away as my "winter emergency supply" - it's bad enough being snowed in & unable to get deliveries AND going to work on the bus, without having to try to carry cat litter from the SM to the bus and then over a mile from the bus stop home:eek:
So ..... at least that's one thing crossed off my "to do winter list"Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

I ordered Golden Grey Master for my lot.
Still got 2 bags of the good old Biocat.
With 4 cats was going through 2 bags per month, with 6 a bit more.. sighhhh
Why everyone always stops the good stuff?
I liked the Biocat....
The ones they have on their site are more expensive, thought they just re-packaged the usual stuff but the news ones seem bigger granules and I do not like bigger granules so back to Glden Grey Master - hope they don't stop that one too...0 -
I went to order the scented white biokat and it wasn't there so have ordered 2 bags of the golden grey master.
I got the tin out that we store the litter in to top up the trays, turned around and Gitmo was sat in the tin having a poop  Little so and so he is, I swear he had a smirk on his face as he jumped out and walked past me. I suppose at least it shows he knows what the litter is, just hope he's as keen with the new stuff0 -
My lot - for them there was no difference between Biocat and Golden Grey TBH.
They know where the trays are, what is in the trays - they are not bothered.
In any case, the consistency of Biocat and Golden Grey is the same, sand like, very fine granules.0 -
