Neil....you're obviously a man who doesn't go outside in case the sky falls on them.

As such I wish you all the best with your treatment.

My sarcasm was directed towards NeilBs claim that there was every likelihood that he OP would end up owing £700 because they saw my advice within two minutes of me posting it, and then ran away and never came back to the thread they had started fro any more advice [presumably even when the N1 etc arrived].

I'm happy to argue the toss, but I'm not sure other readers would be similarly pleased.

So Orford ...presumably you agree with Neil that the OP would have lost £700???

Failing that which bits of my post do you say are wrong???

    See...look what you've started now...

You should make sure you give the correct advice for the situation, blindly pasting that post without consideration can cause confusion , you didn't post the correct advice as you weren't 100% sure if it was a ppc, ok we all make mistakes but your post is tiresome and doesn't explain why all those points are irrelevant , if it was me seeking advice I would a answer not a lazy copy and paste!
Excel Parking, MET Parking, Combined Parking Solutions, VP Parking Solutions, ANPR PC Ltd, & Roxburghe Debt Collectors. What do they all have in common?
They are all or have been suspended from accessing the DVLA database for gross misconduct!
Do you really need to ask what kind of people run parking companies?

Er...wrong, strictly speaking my advice was in fact 100% correct; the issue is that there was ambiguity over PPC or council. [If posting the same advice was a crime there would be no regular posters on here....count the number of 'ignore it''s there are on this board.]

    2. Posting advice on a question where it wasn't clear if it was a PPC or council. The ambiguity was cleared up 2 minutes after I posted but apparently according to NeilB this two minutes is enough for the OP to rack up debts of £400-£700 because they have taken my advice.
Are you suggesting that isn't a possible outcome? You sound like a dodgy defence lawyer; yes it's possible to rack up £700 fines/costs etc...but only if they read my post within two mins of it being posted and then never came back on MSE again [now, are you saying that's even remotely probable??]
The debt pales into insignificance compared to the upheaval, stress and feeling of personal loss of those who choose to ignore the wrong thing! That may well be the case, but the OP won't be suffering this since they are sorted.
Neil thens says that if this happened to him [ie he racked up debts of £700 because of a tweo minute delay] he would sue me and take MSE to court and 'i know my rights [or drivel to that effect]. No, I said it would be the first point of investigation for consideration of an action. I remain unclear on the legal standing of posts on an internet forum. Neil, if you posted, read the first bit of advice given, logged off immediately and never went back to the forum despite other letters etc, you'd be laughed out of court; and rightly so.

    3. Oh and then I'm a PPC troll...but the clever bit here is that I'm using reverse logic or witchcraft to tell people to ignore all PPC correspondence so that they all actually pay the PPC or even better lose their houses.
You twist words again. I wrote in clear English. I referred specifically to the possibility of a ppc troll giving such advice to a recipient of a legitimate notice that must be actioned. But as you keep banging on...it was unclear as to PPC/council, so how come you're accusing me of posting knowing it must be actioned?? You're coming across as a bit confused.

Come on people, get the stones.

And the irrelevant remarks you make on your bullet points if you like, does not explain why its irrelevant , so as you are copying and pasting, showing you are clever, I have just done the same, so I will await your answers, because this is what people want when asking questions!

They are irrelevant.......because it's a PPC invoice, and as such all such 'details' are irrelevant.

Once the word 'private' or 'PPC' is mentioned...that's it...everything else typed after that bears no relevance to the outcome [of ignore it].

    I'm not spamming....on two fronts.

    1. The info I post is accurate and pertinent to the threads.

    2. Spam is basically sent to try to drive people to a particular website to purchase something, and almost always has a link in it [otherwise what's the point]. Sadly I also fail on this count.

Keep [STRIKE]up the good work[/STRIKE] trying.
