Now i'm confused... where does that post come from? I was not aware there was another thread.

You know what ...it's best to let it lie; it would take too much life effort to clarify so best to move on.......

posting the same thing a dozen times is a pretty good definition of spam way of answering the same question a dozen times

If you want to be tedious then yes but for most forum users it is not great to have to see this repeated. If you think this is a good way to get your point across then you may need to increase your dosage.

    It's no good....I can't stop it.......

If it's council/police - go to Pepipoo and post there.

    If it's a PPC then......

    Seriously...ignore everything.

    Truly...ignore everything.

It's not written for 'most forum users' it's written for people who ask if they chould pay a PCN/PPC invoice 'ticket' etc.

  • I received a Parking Charge Notice yesterday from Parking Eye. I logged on to the pc to pay up but then decided to google the firm. One of the top sites was this one - thanks to you guys and all the posts saying do not pay I am now not going to!!! Slightly worried but going to stand firm and sit out the letters :-) Thanks to everyone xx

    No let's not.

So far you've excused yourself by pointing at a timescale of just two minutes (plenty enough time for the damage to be done), that your post was somehow relevant to an unrelated thread (err - how since all are individual) and then reveal that you claim to be talking about that very, very different thread and infer that everyone is stupid for not realising? How odd.

    1/. Spam, as cited.
This forum, as is documented elsewhere I believe recently, has suffered from spamming by ppcs. It would be no surprise to see a ppc post, in the irresponsible manner you have, in order to cause a loss to a recipient of a Council PCN and hence gain credibility for their own laughable cause.

2/. You continue to shy from taking responsibility for the extremely risky post#2 you made here.
The potential cost to a recipient of a Council PCN, for London by example, would be circa £400- £700 as a starting point and rising exponentially.
Despite what you see on PePiPoo there would, in such circumstances, be no legal way of avoiding such a cost. Following your advice a person seeking help would be told by PeP that there was no basis on which to make an Out of Time Statutory Declaration application and Witness Statement. They would have to pay.

I saw that original post of yours but didn't bother pointing out the blindingly obvious because diligent members here had raised the matter. I choose to now because you both disrespect them and continue with your stupidity and risk to others.
Many people who seek help are completely clueless and on this forum do not have the benefit of many previous cases, unlike PeP, to check should they encounter a response as daft as yours.
Being so, they may well latch on to that phrase of yours, which you continue to use but remains dangerous in ANY context - ''ignore everything'' after every sentence. That could so easily be construed to be a reference to legitimate PCNs since it is attached to mandatory elements of those.

I am unclear what protection the forum affords any of us for flawed advice but I do know that if you cost me £400+ I'd be after you and first port of call would be the owners of this forum.

Kindly consider your posts and the potential impact.

    Neil

    Your post is quite alarmist.

I won't dwell on highlighting the ridiculous nature of your comments [boring for all others] but on a positive note I have taken on board your concerns [however unfounded they may be].

As such I have altered my advice and here's what it now says......[would welcome your feedback again]

    PPC Advice

If it's council/police - go to Pepipoo forums and post the details and a copy of the PCN [front and back] on there. Council/Police issue Penalty Charge Notices [and are the only ones allowed to do so].

If it's a PPC then......they issue ‘invoices’ [often made to resemble official PCNs]; often call their invoices Parking Charge Notices [same initials, see part of the scam]. These are legally unenforceable as [leaving aside signage, etc] the PPCs needs to prove who was driving the car [not just name the Registered Keeper (which is all the council/police have to do)]. Nothing else matters.

So in essence if it's a PPC...

Ignore everything [unless you get an N1 from the court].

    Really...ignore everything.

    Seriously...ignore everything.

    Truly...ignore everything.

Details of your case....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Name of retail park/store....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Town....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Reason given on ticket....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Name of PPC....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Date....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Time....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Day....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Blue badge....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Parent & monster space....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Amount of fine....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Spoke to store manager....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Debt Collector letter received....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Name of debt collector....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Threatened court....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Contents of debt collector letter....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Extra ‘admin charge’ added....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Solicitor letter received ....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Got a telephone call....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    You were ill....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Only nipped in for 2 mins....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

    Left and returned....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

But I did what they say I did....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.

Anything else relating to a PPC invoice....totally irrelevant...ignore everything.
