I'd never experinced heartburn until I was pregnant and when woke up in middle of night with burning taste in mouth and stomach pains through husband had put chilli peppers in my mouth for joke and went absolutely mad at him. Of course he denied it, and then had to apologise next day when relating tale of his awfulness to his sister who said it may have been heartburn!! Hee hee oops!:rotfl:

I think I had better just stick to water!!!

Yes, I am having a c-sec, the baby is not just 11lb but she is sideways!!!! this is a sign of things to come. She is due on the 17th Dec but being born on the 4th(should I say removed??)

It just disturbs sleep so much, I am sleeping upright almost! apparently it hasn't improving my snoring however!!!oops.
Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY

YOUCH! Will you be having a ceaser then? Woman in work ended up having a ceaser with her first...he turned out to be near 12Ib odd I think..and she is about 5ft...I know that doesn't mean anything but....OMG the thought of giving birth to a babby that big.......... QUOTE]
I was told my first was going to be a big baby!!!Had visions of a toddler coming out:eek: she actually weighed 5lbs 13 oz,although i did have to have an emergency ceaser!(apparantly i have got a small pelvis! just loads of fat covering it!:rotfl: ) although i had to have elected ceasers for the other 2!!
  • Aw, Oobidoo. I feel for you. My son was 10lb 4, my brother 11 and a half and my grandpa 12lb. My midwife has told me this one seems to be a big bruiser too. No kidding. After DS1 getting stuck, and ending up with a delivery under general anaesthetic, I'm going for a planned section this time.

    Good luck.
May all your dots fall silently to the ground.
  • Hi all, I had BAD heartburn with all three of my kids. Had to have Gaviscon on tap but found it only relieved it for a couple of minutes. My DH propped up the bed with housebricks (a couple under each leg of the head end only) which helped a little at night. I used to cry alot as it was that bad! Anyway I feel for all you ladies out there!

He he! Oh that made me laugh....visions of toddler with building bricks coming out for some reason??? You must have been carrying an awful lot of water and other 'bits'...(oh you can tell I'm in the know can't you:D )...to be told it was a heavy baby?

Something else I have been doing recently is drible in my sleep, I wake up and my pillow is wet. I am a lost cause for the next 7 sleeps, heartburn, snoring and the dribble!!!!! and then the sleepless nights will start! woohoo.
