I was looking at an ad from tyre supplier, but they don't give a price for this size.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -

 Geez.....a hundred and twenty-five pounds a tyre.......that's a bit much. Are they monster wheels? The greater danger, for most of us, lies not in setting our aim too high and falling short; but in setting our aim too low and achieving our mark0 -

Camskills have Kumho's at £53

I agree, I went through a phase of buying part worns but it probably works out more expensive than buying new.
I never buy them now.
My mum had a full set of part worn ones. Each tyre had a different amount of tread, so handle was difficult as each tyre gave different amount of grip.0 -
Galaxy tyres have NEVER been £30. Ever.
Galaxies take tyres with special reinforced side walls and they aren't cheap.
If you are running a Galaxy with the wrong tyres on, your insurance will effectively be VOID. The first thing that insurance companies look at on Galaxy claims is the tyres, because it is an easy way to avoid paying out.
I find local tyre companies best value - usually a few quid less than any of the BlackCircles-type websites.British Ex-pat in British Columbia!0 -
Seventy pounds for a Galaxy tyre isn't bad at all, I certainly wouldn't put thirty pound tyres on anything.
Camskill were doing Toyo T1-R's in 195/50/15 for £29.99 last year...
Although I certainly dont think tyres have gone up over 130% since last year, nor that £70 is the best price they could get, nor that the bought proper new tyres for £30...
EDIT - in your size Camskill has some Nankangs for £44 each, or some Kumhos for £52...Nothing I say represents any past, present or future employer.0 -

Try etyres.
It's always worth paying for fitting unless you have someone who will do it for you for free!Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')
No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)0 -
