Haven't updated signature yet but am already over my budget with 2 shops still to go until payday.
On a brighter note I made the sausagemeat and stuffing plait tonight which went down a treat with everyone. There is enough left for lunch for two of the kids tomorrow. ALthough I had done a week meal plan have decided that I may not keep to it for the next two weeks as it will mean buying more main ingredients in, so I think I will just try and use what I have in apart from basics and try to limit the damage.

Hippeechick - haven't been on the forum long to know you but can see that you have been having a tough time - well done on supporting your DD and I hope you get the results you need.

Hippeechiq - so sorry to hear that you are having such a rough time and that those that could help are doing their best at being complete idiots. I really hope that things improve for you and your daughter soon. :grouphug:

Spiggle - hope that round two goes well for you, will be thinking of you.

    :grouphug:

Went to Morri$on$ today (got fed up with Te$co but will be back as it is a lot nearer :() and spent £25.05 Have taken a look at my spending last month and for the same number of days have spent about £30 more:eek: Oh dear not looking good this month unless I can pull it back in the next 2.5 weeks.

Have made some chicken soup today and also got an oxtail in the sc which will have tomorrow with some home made gnocchi - never made this before so will have to wait and see how it turns out.

today I spent £17.47 in Sainsbugs, will probably need to do a big shop at end of week. we had HM Pizza tonight and I have a chicken in the fridge so a roast is very tempting for tomorrow.

Thank you all so much for your kind thoughts and words. I'm off to hospital in the next half hour.

I've fully updated my sig with two separate home deliveries from Mr S yesterday and Mr T today. We should only need fresh stuff until end of month now (fingers crossed!). Never been this far into budget this early in the month.

Anyhow, DD is here so off I go. See you all in a few days or so.

    Take care,
    Spigs
