tessie_bear wrote: »hi....first day of holiday down....quite a few to go....did anyone notice on the news that food prices have gone down in the last month:rotfl:...i must have missed that when i did my shopping
Think we all missed it didnt we or else we are all shopping in the wrong shop.
After saying I wouldnt do it I have today gone on the Te$co website to see if I can get some of the DTD money back. Only brought two bags of strong bread flour @ 1.24 each so will see in a day or so if I have it right. I worked out that seen as A$da's flour was 68p I should be due £2.24 back making the flour only 12 pence per bag. is this right or is my maths worse than I thought?
Also spent £20.74 The oxtail last night was lovely even though I didnt end up doing the gnocchi but just mash and tonight there is enough left for us all with a jkt potato and some salad.
Mrs Macawber you have inspire me so much that from tomorrow both myself and DH are going to go back on s.w. diet as we have both put a few lbs back on and it needs to come off. Must go and find the thread for it if I can, I did find it once but cant remember what it was titled so will have to root around again.
Hippeechiq - hope you got some positive results yesterday.MARCH £62.38/2500
