Afternoon all!
As I was shopping near a Mr A I popped in to get a few bits and promptly spent £38:eek:
I usually use Mr T but thought they may have different SW friendly vegetarian stuff at Mr A.
I have actually done most of the weekly shop I was going to do on Saturday apart from some F&V that I'll need for next week (too early to buy today).
I'll hopefully only spend about £15 on the weekend to keep me somewhere near budget but we'll see!0 -
Just popped on to say
Spiggle - hope you are ok
Hippiechiq - hope you and DD are ok
Sistercas - hope the back is better
Need to update siggy but have to get a receipt from DH first

I've just updated my sig - £101.44 so far this month of £180 budget. I've spent £58.85 this week, I was aiming for £45, so next week I'm aiming for £31.15 to make up for my £13.85 overspend. Should be doable - POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE (and loads of 9p pasta!)*** PROPHECY_GRRL****** DEBT FREE AS OF 17/10/11 - I DID IT!!! ***0

£6.05 spent in Tesco today on cheese slices, bread rolls, onions, body spray and potato wedges. I usually make my own wedges, but the frozen ones were only 52p a bag and will last for ages, so i'll see what they're like and maybe carry on buying them.
I'll be popping to Lidl at the weekend to get some of the cheese that's on offer as it's a bargain!Grocery challenge - Nov: £52/£100

Had a big spend of £70 today, but stocked up on washing powder and loo roll, and had one 'treat' meal because it's been a looong month for various reasons.
Should hopefully still be able to come in under budget tho, fingers crossed! :SMayGC:£118/£360 April:£283

OK so it's been a pretty crazy month and so this is my first proper post. I have just caught up with everybody's news, and am now thinking that I am not the having the craziest month in comparison to most!
So (((hugs))) to Mothership, spiggle and hippychiq and anybody else that needs them.
So . . . this month I decided to work in cash only. Somebody (sorry, can't remember who!) said that they do this and it makes them more aware of spending. It's really helped me. Plus I am running down the freezer so I am feeling quite OK about my level of spends.
Current total is £63.29, which covers:
2 veg boxes (one of which will be coming tomorrow)
A "main shop" at co-0p
A whoopsies shop at S@insbuy's (I've learnt that when I leave the gym after work co-incides with final mark downs at the branch next door- there's a reason to exercise more!)
A L!dl top up shop.
Talking of veg boxes, somebody (again, sorry can't remember who, brain like a sieve at the moment) was asking how to find one. I have a local one, I think I just googled "veg box oxfordshire" or something. It's also the company my parents use (they're about 9 miles away). There are nationwide companies - Riverford organics and Able and Cole are the two big ones. I'm not sure how wide their distribution is, but people I know who us them say they're good. Also being bigger they have fancy ordering systems where you can say if you don't want some kinds of veg and they'll swap it etc.
Hope everybody has nice things planned for the weekend - eant to be getting sunny againTotal debt: [STRIKE]£9473.62[/STRIKE] £7,384.87 22% PAIDTAF #25 NSD 8/12 | Food £43.45/£50 | eBay 0/20 | Exercise 5/18:T Proud to be Dealing with my Debt :TDFD: June 20150 -

Thanks for this. I'm fairly PC savvy, so you'd think I would've thought of this. Sadly notI'm doing my research now. I think It'd make me be more healthy so I'll give it a go.
