    Hello everyone

    Happy birthday Twink!!

I've had a very slow start this morning...in fact spent most of it just lying in my cosy bed listening to Aled Jones, Steven Wright then a bit of Michael Parkinson (though I don't especially like the music he puts on). I had a wee drop of wine last night to help ease me into slumber. It worked a treat, though as always I still woke up after about four hours.

The house is fairly clean and sparkly this morning. I had a mammoth cleaning session yesterday, and am going to get on and do a bit more today. My little office is a disaster area - it needs a good declutter session.

PennyPincher....I am sorry to hear that devestating news about your friend. What a dreadful painful thing for all concerned.

AussieLass - the uniform I chucked away yesterday was from my previous job, ie the one which made me so unhappy. Yes, I did buy new trousers but they were for my new job...they most definitely are not in the bin!! BTW I must say that the act of disposing of the uniform was rather cathartic.

Hope you're all having a fab Sunday.

My friend just called and said her son will be on his way home soon, she said the problem is they have knocked his bedroom wall down (getting extension built) and it won't be done before he gets back, looks like he's on the sofa :rotfl: would love to see his face when he gets back, he's a proper stuck up pain in the backside to be honest, he bosses his Mam about and had a strict rule they were not to enter his room apart from to clean when he is away, he has no idea about the wall :rotfl:

    Afternoon all

Im going out xmas shopping in a bit. I have asked everyone what they want this year so im not wasting money on what I thik they want but will probably never see the light of day once they take it home!

Limited myself to a strict budget and have done a plan of the shops i need to go in, just so i dont end up browsing and buying stuff for myself that I dont need!

Hope you find what you're looking for Ice, anything like me you will come back empty handed.

I also have started an OS section in my internet favourites think that will help, so far I have cleaning and recipes section.
