Hi all,
Just to let you know that the Quark registration site should be up and running again now.
Once again, apologies for any inconvenience.

I'll have to check with Quark on whether you can install it again if you change to Vista. I'll get back to you ASAP.
There won't be a problem installing it on a PC with no internet access if you've registered it from another computer.
Regards,
Steve

It's not automated - you just type the code in after you've received an email - so, as you say, you should be OK. I'll try and get confirmation out of Quark though.

I've successfully registered the product today and it all went seamlessly.
As an experienced PageMaker user I'm keen to try Quark - I've heard so much about it and have regretted not purchasing Quark when I had the chance years ago (I purchased PageMaker instead). So I am chuffed to bits with this offer. :j
A big thank you to Adman for sharing this gem, and to Martin for publicising it in his weekly email - otherwise I honestly believe I would not have seen this offer.
Thanks guys. :T :T :T
PS: Thanks also to Computer Shopper. Any chance of a similar offer with Illustrator?"He who asks questions cannot avoid the answers"0 -

Having done this, do you think you could reregister if you had to perform an OS reinstall, or bought a new PC?0 -
Hi Steve, once installed, if I reformat my PC will I be able to re-register it please?0

I've registered the product, but haven't yet installed it on my PC.
I'm in the same boat as you in as much as I will be buying a new PC and will need to install it on the new one. For the time being I think I'll install in on my current PC, then wipe it clean when I get the new one.
So far, it looks to me as though there shouldn't be any problem. Presumably the setup is such that if you input the supplied validation code and the serial number, it will just install. I'll let you know if I get a problem with this though."He who asks questions cannot avoid the answers"0 -
