Gaia, thanks for the phone number - we should call on Monday, as they're closed for the weekend.

    Office opening times: 08:30 - 17:30, Monday-Friday

    G

P.S. I'll be back again to thank you if it works :)

    I can't believe the "wot a rip-off" brigade.

You have paid less than a fiver for a programme worth hundreds.

So there is a problem with the installation. Big deal. Either ring the number listed above or wait until the problem is fixed.

In the grand scheme of things this hardly counts as a disaster. Even if it takes a week this has still got to be the bargain of the year.

You are paying less than a sixtieth of the price of the software assuming you can buy it for £600, surely a little patience is required.

From the CS forum cover disk section moderator - posted yesterday
We are aware of the problem and have informed Quark about the registration page being unavailable. They have informed us that this is a temporary problem and will have the page up and running again, hopefully within the next 12 - 24 hours.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

ie. They know about the problem - it's being dealt with - as I said it's the weekend - so it's taking a little longer - live with it.

Er, on what grounds are you basing this exactly?

Oh well, that's it then. Pass the razer blades or the bucket of sleeping tablets.

Several people have responded saying wait until next week, people that appear to have spoken to the magazine people as opposed to just whining and predicting the end is nigh.

This is a freebie, for the price of a magazinem for goodness sake, chill, go to Threshers with the 40% discount voucher and go on a 48 hour bender and I'll bet my bottom dollar (or my validation code) that the issue is resolved by the time you recover from your hangover.

My Add/remove program says 48.09MB (though I'm sure that can not be right...)
