What a rip off!
...and I fell for it!!
Computer Shopper are laughing all the way to the bank!!
All us mugs bought the magazine specifically for the software, and you cant even install it!!!!!!!
Like somebody else said, should have read all the complaints on the Computer Shopper website before shelling out the cash.
:mad:I know nothing - really!!0 -
Me too. Can't Martin Lewis do something about this scam?0

Hi,
Many of us have installed the software without problems.
Currently the registration website is down. (and has only been so for a couple of days)
Have some patience, you have until January 25th to activate it.
As I mentioned above, try it again Monday evening, and if it's still not working contact the guy from computer shopper who posted on here.0 -
Adman wrote:Hi,
I've had a few PMs regarding the keys to get this Software working.
So, I thought I'd just clarify the instructions from the install guide.
The Key on the CD is used to register your copy with the website only.
Once this is done, an email is sent to you with the actual key to unlock the software. (Warning: do NOT use a hotmail address when you register, hotmail hates quark key emails, it won't even reach your Junk mail folder)
Thank you Gaia for that phone number.
Good luck every one, this bargain is worth a little hassle for the end result0 -
Why are people panicking and shouting Rip off already ?- so the site is currently down - probably due to the demand - no big deal - It's the weekend or hadn't you noticed? - CS and Quark are reputable sources - Some people need to have some simple patience before crying "Rip Off! and "scam!"".

the whole thing is off globally, including their "paid for" section so I don't see how this is a rip off or con, if you try anywhere in the world on the drop down menu you get the same thingEx forum ambassador

Clearly you don't work in a place with an "IT Department"
As I say, give it a couple of days and give it another go. Plenty of us had no problems.

Have a little patience and, if you really need to, there is always the freephone number, won't cost you a jellybean to phone them."Never argue with an idiot. They drag you down to their level then beat you with experience." Anon.0
