shame that if they did say that, she would get sacked for saying it0 -
Last week in Morrisons I saw a woman with a child of about five or six actually in the trolley....ugh! its just not acceptable. The mother was getting some of that salad stuff that you help yourself to and while she was doing this the child was dipping his fingers in as many containers as he could reach and licking his fingers! The woman behind the counter politely asked her to stop the child from doing this and also to remove him from the trolley. The childs mother looked at her as though she was mad and said "He is only a child, how do you expect him to know he is not supposed to touch the bl**dy stuff! I feel sorry for kids with stupid parents like that.
The woman behind the counter started to remove all the containers so I presume all the salad and coleslaw etc had to be thrown out.
I never buy that stuff anyway. I used to until I saw someone sneeze right over it!
I was working on dairy a few years ago at Tesco, this kid around 5 or 6 asked for some cottage cheese, his mum said no as he wouldn't like it...so when she wasn't looking he opened a tub, put his hand in...shoved a load in his mouth and spat it back out! Pointed it out to his mum and said something like 'I guess you'll be paying for that now'...think she did as well lol. What is pi? Where did it come from?0 -
It's people whistling at the checkout that drives me to want to commit bodily harm.0

Queueing for the self serve scanning tills, just like others, then some burk pretends not to notice the queue then jumps onto one of the tills that has just become available!
This happened yesterday at ASDA with a young couple and I could see the lady slyly looking at the queue but still jumped onto one before everyone else.
I told them to !!!! off as I was the first in the queue by this time.

Why when i look at the reduction bit of the chiller, is there always a pair of people there who stand there, pick up and swivvel each item round, read the label, put it back and go to the next item, why can't they look with their eyes or at least see that others are trying to look as well - CONSIDER OTHERS!!!!
Why do some people have to walk right in frpont of me and stand there in front of the shelf when i am looking at it - I AM LOOKING THERE SO AT LEAST STAND BESIDE ME TO LOOK AND NOT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!

My mum used to tell me "Look with your eyes, not with your hands"
In the library at school we were taught to take a step back and look from there, it's easier to see all the books. Also it allows someone stood next to you to see all the books.
The same method also applies to supermarket shelves.

I agree that there is always some uneducated prat who will stand in front and look with their hands.:(0 -
All the reasons above is exactly why I avoid ASDA. The mecca of the un-washed and un-educated0

I find it really odd that when I stop to look at something on a shelf and consider what I'm about to buy you can guarantee that all of a sudden a really quiet aisle will become busy, everyone all of a sudden wants the items where you are looking at.
I remember once while standing waiting to buy some clothes in a shop the cashier stepped away from the till to do something, I stood there patiently waiting for her to return to her till. The person behind me wasn't happy and started jabbing me in the back with her finger to make me move.0 -
Ooh, I hate queue jumping!
I remember being at Tesco Clothing once, only person in the queue and this woman stood in front of me. I walked back in front of her and she said ‘err, there is a queue, you know’… I pointed out that I was aware of that as I was at the front of it before she barged in front of me!
Yesterday I was queuing at a kiosk and an old man about third in the queue was leaning across the people in front of him trying to pass his drink to the cashier!
Also, people at the self checkouts that can’t use them and the shop person has to stand with them to scan everything, meaning that anyone else waiting for anything just has to stand there! That happened once and I ended up walking to the manned till anyway.
ALSO! When you’ve got a freezer door open and someone decides to get everything they want out of there while you’re holding it. I’ve been known to let go with their head in the door.0 -

Heh heh heh - i love doing this to people who do that.. Properly saying it loud as well so everyone can hear and they go bright red because they never imagine people will speak up."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0 -
Why do people who have a pram AND a supermarket trolley insist on standing just where you want to pick something up and take up at 4 metres of the shelf with their prams and trolleys laid idly by while they ponder the shelf products - GET A MOVE ON OF MOVE YOUR TROLLEYS!!!
There are not many shops that have the 'pram stations' around, I know out of all of the supermarkets up here, only ONE has it - Morrisons.
These people don't know you were aiming to get to where they are, AND please consider the stress they probably have trying to move both trolley AND pram. It's hard work.
If I did a shop with the kids when they were in buggies, I would drag hubby with me or leave the kids at home, but not everyone has that choice.
I also sometimes used to ask the customer service desk if I could leave the buggy there and sometimes I could, but could you imagine if everyone started doing that!?Why do some people have to walk right in frpont of me and stand there in front of the shelf when i am looking at it - I AM LOOKING THERE SO AT LEAST STAND BESIDE ME TO LOOK AND NOT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!
Hahaha, this actually happened to me! I was left rather angry and I just stood there looking at her! She was the assistant too! I couldn't really say anything though because I wasn't sure if she had said 'excuse me please' as I had my iPod in, however the way she barged in, I suspect she didn't because she wouldn't have had time. I was actually HOLDING a peice of clothing when she barged right infront of me!!
I am one who HATES people being impolite. I would rather they said their please and thank yous.
I HATE it when I'm walking behind someone and they suddenly STOP! I also hate it when two people are in the middle of the isle and they are standing there chatting and we have to try and move past them or get their attention to move - in the end having to result to tapping them on the shoulder, which I HATE to do if it's an older person incase I scare them into a heart attack - ok, ok, a bit dramatic lol:beer: Thank you to everyone!
