Just to get them off my chest, these have all happened today:
Why when i buy cigs from the cig kiosk is there always someone behind me who is so close that i actually not only feel their heavy breathing on my neck, i can even smell their breath, wish youd just give me 1 foot of breathable air please in a queue, not like were queueing up for world war 3 rations, BACK OFF!!
Why do people who have a pram AND a supermarket trolley insist on standing just where you want to pick something up and take up at 4 metres of the shelf with their prams and trolleys laid idly by while they ponder the shelf products - GET A MOVE ON OF MOVE YOUR TROLLEYS!!!
Why when i look at the reduction bit of the chiller, is there always a pair of people there who stand there, pick up and swivvel each item round, read the label, put it back and go to the next item, why can't they look with their eyes or at least see that others are trying to look as well - CONSIDER OTHERS!!!!
Why do some people have to walk right in frpont of me and stand there in front of the shelf when i am looking at it - I AM LOOKING THERE SO AT LEAST STAND BESIDE ME TO LOOK AND NOT RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!!!!
I have more but that made me feel better for now.

I have to agree with people standing too close behind you when you're trying to pay.
i bought three bags full of stuff from our local Coop yesterday, put two bags on the floor whilst I filled the third and paid. Had to bend down to pick up the two bags to leave the shop and the woman behind me tutted because she had to move back to allow me to bend.
For goodness sake, I'm not going to pay any quicker because you're standing on top of me. And I know I'm only 5'3", but I'm still visible!0 -
Don't forget that the end of the busiest isle in any supermarket is the designated congregating spot for all members of the over 70's club to discuss Ethel's 'delicate operation'..0

The only thing that winds me up is people with trolleys in the 'basket only' line, and people with about 40 things in the '20 items' line.
Selfish.Cash not ash from January 2nd 2011: £2565.:j
OU student: A103 , A215 , A316 all done. Currently A230 all leading to an English Literature degree.
Any advice given is as an individual, not as a representative of my firm.0 -

I do this sometimes, i watch what people in front of me are putting on the conveyor belt, can't help thinking "Oh my god, look at all the junk food....you don't eat that crap do you urgh....oh and they are foul.....damn you must not whats in them things....and i see your running low on tampons to buy that many....what are you buying those things for they are expensive....you eat cheerios urgh....how you gonna get that cream cake home without it getting squashed....only 1 toilet roll for all that food, you must use newspapers too, well it saves money i guess...."
and so onOwed out = lots. :cool:0 -
LOL i do agreee with the points in the first post OP, having worked in retail i do pick up on alot of things, people who push the trolleys but arent looking in the same direction, i used to and still get annoyed with people who gather for a natter right in frnt of what i want to buy, if you havent seen them for a while then give them a call but dont have a conversation in the shop0

Last week in Morrisons I saw a woman with a child of about five or six actually in the trolley....ugh! its just not acceptable. The mother was getting some of that salad stuff that you help yourself to and while she was doing this the child was dipping his fingers in as many containers as he could reach and licking his fingers! The woman behind the counter politely asked her to stop the child from doing this and also to remove him from the trolley. The childs mother looked at her as though she was mad and said "He is only a child, how do you expect him to know he is not supposed to touch the bl**dy stuff! I feel sorry for kids with stupid parents like that.
The woman behind the counter started to remove all the containers so I presume all the salad and coleslaw etc had to be thrown out.
I never buy that stuff anyway. I used to until I saw someone sneeze right over it! :eek:0 -

some people just shouldnt be parents full stop and be sterilsed
or when the kids handle the pick and mix sweets when the scoops are meant to be used,0 -

Well, if the assistant is reading this then the correct answer is:
"Because his bl**dy parents are supposed to teach him right from wrong. Now, how will you be paying for all of the food your bl**dy child has ruined? Cash or card?"0 -
I hate those supermarkets that leave so many cages of food to be shelved that customers can't even get near the shelves. It's not as if anyone is ever filling the shelves.0
