Morning all
How is everyone on this fine morning? I have decided that WI on Monday is going to concentrate my mind. I am feeling positive about the weekend... going to get lots of walking/cycling in, the good weather is a godsend! :j:j:j:jlizzie_dripping wrote: »Lost 1lb. At least it's a loss! :Tnickynoo08 wrote: »Well i've had an awful start to the month:(
darn mothers day:o, the choccies were yummy tho. Also had the builders in this week so lost use of my kitchen for a couple of days so OH bought us a take away one night, then went to my mums the next night who got us fish and chips. Although my eating has most definately improved over the week (now i have my kitchen back) i'm still feeling the effects of all that rubbish, really bloated and 'feel' heavy too. On a more positive note i've been drinking loads of water lately (the only thing i've really been able to stick to so far) and have to say i can now see a difference in my skin and my cellulite too so will defo be keeping this up. Will wi on sunday if i dare:o
Yay for water! It really is a miracle substance, and my favourite drink. :AHave brought a `figure 8` elastic band type arm trainer thingy!
Basically a big rubber band to add resistance for doing tricep curls, etc.
Only cost £2, else I would have left it.
This will add 5 min to my 5 min ab trainer sessions - back up to 2 x 10min each (almost) day!
Arms are killing me after 2 sessions! Maybe get rid of the `bingo wings`
Good for you. I must dig out my weights again and actually use them.
Have a good day everyone xoxoGet to 119lbs! 1/2/09: 135.6lbs 1/5/11: 145.8lbs 30/3/13 150lbs 22/2/14 137lbs 2/6/14 128lbs 29/8/14 124lbs 2/6/17 126lbs

hi folks please can i join for this month, i've been trying for ages and am determined to shift some of my extra weight. i'm 5'4" and weigh 181lbs, (12st 13lb) got back on track this week and lost two pounds, but find time is my big enemy so got up this morning and was out walking before 7 - dragged DD did 2 1/2 miles, unfortunately cant afford the gym at the moment or the cost it would be for us both to attend a class. Am not following any specific plan but just good old fashioned calorie counting then at least nothings too complicated - dont have time to worry if its a healthy extra, how many checks or points etc, have given myself 1200 calories per day and will see how i get on with that! i usually weigh in on a Wednesday evening- but am guilty of weighing myself every second day! have also discovered if i fancy a drink after a hard week that the Tesco value lager is only 55 cals a tin - usually drink becks, only thing is o/h wont buy it incase anybody sees him!!! dont usually have bkfast either but have bought cereal bars and also the oat so simple (down to a £1 a box in Sainsbugs) so will force myself to start having breakfast as usually start piggin out mid morning and dont stop the rest of the day then end up skipping meals and eating junk - am soooooo unhealthy when i read this!
Glad to have you on board skintbint, and see you are already making healthy changes

morning all, thought i'd pop on here to keep motivated! thanks Dragon every little change should help - even the cheapo lager! spent yesterday afternoon in the garden - actually gardening and cutting the grass instead of sitting on my bahoochie drinking coffee. Got 12 yro DS and his friend to check over the bike i bought in October and havent used yet (well it was a bad winter!) just as well as OH has put the gears on upside down and twisted the brake cables so would have probably broken, a step closer to actually getting out on it now! have a great weekend everyone and enjoy the sunshineskintbint x

Half a pound off is better than half a pound on so that deserves a :j in my book!
I'm with you on the water - I need to start upping my levels again - I was getting through 1.5 litres + my mugs of tea but the water has gone by the wayside

Totally agree on the water, I really must join you all in this one.
I'll be weighing in on Monday - don't think I'll have much to report though as I seem to have got stuck.0 -
