  • Gah I was awful today. Too much rubbish....(thinks back to what I had)...started off good with a cup of decaf coffee and a mix of mango and kiwi fruit in a bowl...then, chicken soup with 2 slices of bread, a orange juice, steamed chicken and 4 slices of garlic bread ugh, and then 5 little ovaltine biscuits. OH and like 5 rice cakes with vegemite ughh ughh ugghh..

I go back to work tomorrow after 10 months of maternity leave so i'm hoping there will be no food temptations in the office!
  • Hello everyone  thought I'd pop in & say hi. Have juust read through everyone's posts & I think with a bit of determination we can do it girls! Congrats on the baby!

I have been shopping, got my stuff in order 7 have began. Went for my first jog in ages yesterday which was so hard compared to where I was a couple of months ago (I had got to the point where I could jog continuously for 25 mins but now I'm back to jog for 3 brisk walk for 2 for 21 mins. Oh well a start is a start no matter how small!)

    Good luck guys x

    Hi all,

Belated weigh-in for me this week as I was away for the weekend and missed my usual saturday weigh-in.

I have STS, which considering I have had meals out and dissapointingly gave in to the Easter egg temptation, is ok with me this week, as I thought I had gained.

Congratulations on the baby news phoenix_dragon, make sure you don't do what I did last year, and gained nearly 5 stone. My son was 9.9lb so I was amazed I had only lost about a stone after giving birth, I was sure it would be nearer 2 stone with all the fluid etc, He was so worth it though!

Well done on the loss Dragon :)

As this is my first week and I am feeling quite motivated for me I am going to try a week without caffine (have been sleeping badly recently :( ) and no biscuits (my downfall with a cuppa), and no alcohol until the weekend.

Really need to do some exercise too but am not a naturally sporty person so a bit stuck for ideas. Toying with the idea of getting an exercise bike to do in front of the soaps but it depends how things are after next payday....

Put me down as STS. Not a great start, but is is only day 5 of April.

I have done approx 40 min extra exercise - 20 min on Wii & 2 x 10min on ab trainer (not that I have any, they are hibernating under a layer of fat! But its still calorie burning!)
I`ve also done extra housework and will do more today, as I have an appointment this am, but the rest of the day off.... Also calorie burning!
