census - date of birth? ( for my youngest ) was mar 2010

Course I am, BUT I don't have a choice about the cencus, I do however, have a choice how it gets to them (for them to lose)

I wouldn't say you are stupid if you threw your form in the bin, but I would say you are at the very least foolish. I am sure you know it is a legal obligation to fill it in (but you know that phrase that says you can't argue with ....).

On a different note I would imagine they can now get census data just by aggregating data from all their other databases anyway so maybe in 10 more years time they will just do that.

Reading the census regulations/act you are required to post it back.

However, what it does not say is that if they do not receive it you have to fill in another.

So if you get a knock on the door, just say you posted it off and tell them to go away.

They cannot do anything else.
