Parking Eye Court Action
Comments

ok, having just read on here about parking eye taking smithy to court - guess what just paid my fine due today..... £40. which I was going to fight - people be careful on here, we just cant ignore this if people are being taken to court, as no one wants a CCJ and hey ho its only £40. now I know to adhere to the two hours (which I thought was 3)
Why did you think you would get a CCJ? Who mentioned that? You only get a CCJ if it gets as far as court, you lose, and then you fail to pay in the required time. You were going to fight but because you came on here and saw pages and pages of advice to not pay you decided to pay anyway?
Hate to suggest anyone is a PPC troll after the abuse I got at the beginning, but I am pretty sure Parking Eye are reading this forum and it would not surprise me if 1 or more of the posters on here were fake.
At the end of the day it may be worth £40 to not have any of the hassle and forget about it, mine was £120 so I felt the need to fight it. No personal vendetta, just want to pay the fair amount and have always been willing to.0 -
Parking Eye are known for underhand tactics. They once put up a couple of spoof forums in which the posters claimed all sorts of distress after being 'fined' by Parking Eye and ignoring the threatmail after looking on internet forums. Several people on here including myself complained about this criminal misrepresentation and the offending websites were taken down. I am sure that the bored work experience kid in the office was told to troll on MSE after emptying the waste paper bins.Still waiting for Parking Eye to send the court summons! Make my day!0

My own approach, in addition to having ignored the scam letters for several months, is to advise my colleagues who drive extensively on network roads with services often monitored by these parasites, to not use those services. We also make a point of objecting to local management. We will win eventually, this business model in the twitter/facebook age is unsustainable.
I am also looking forwards to disrupting any pseudo-social/business evenings that I can hunt down in the North when on business there, when connected to these amphibians.
Or Pond-Life, whatever you prefer.0 -
