    Our local Morrsions has copies on the shelf (near where all the flour is kept) for £1.06.

    My local Safeway has just beome Morrisons, new look store opened yesterday. And before the refit they were selling off the new Be-Ro recipe books for 9p- if I'd known they were practically the OS bakery handbook :) I would have bought a load and you could have had them from me. Sorry- but I will see if they still have them reduced when I go tomorrow.

    PS I did buy one for myself, everything looks great!
  • Tweedmouth Co-Op has them for 99p as does Cramlington Sainsburys - damn it I paid £1.25 and used a stamp to get mine - that's 52p down the pan (the stamp was 26p from CostCo in the just-before-the-post-went-up rush :D)

  • I wished I had known I may have been able to get one from Morrisons. I sent off my cheque for a book three months ago and had given up on it arriving so I bought one off ebay. I wont say how much I paid for it cos Im embarassed. :o
  • Can you still get the be-ro baking book my nana and granny always used this book and there food was always lovely.
    My sister still has my nana's, I would love to get one.

    I was the Innovations manager for McDougals a few years ago- it was staggering the amount of requests we got for it!!

    Apparantly it is the most published cook book in the UK ever.

    I dont have the address to hand but I think the website is bero.co/com
