Happy Mothers Day all you Mums :T

I have been a complete failure this week as far as flying is concerned, but I intend to put in a couple of hours this afternoon.

It's been a really busy week with DD moving out but it should make future flying much less stressful as she was by far the messiest member of the household! It made me laugh the other day when she was complaining about how her housemate never does any housework - must be some kind of karma at work there :rotfl:

Gee Grotbags is being grotty; poor thing the pollen has brought on his asthma, eczema and now he has a cold on top and a vary strange rash on his face. Could be a long day.

Slowly getting there, shower once the cake is out.

ETA just trod on Queen Victoria's tail - she is really not amused.

Today I'm hoping to clear out the back garden, get some rubbish taken to the dump and generally clear up.

Also got some washing to sort out.

Have discovered that my youngest DD has been incredibly deceptive and has ruined Mothers Day completely so I'm not in the best of moods. Best try and get something productive done I suppose.'

My poor little car needs a complete deep clean too so I'll get on to that as well.

*waves* Hope your holiday has done you the world of good xx

Could a certain young lady do the car cleaning as punishment for her crimes?

Hope it isn't too bad and you can get her sorted.. Heard you heard anything about her tootsies yet?

WM on cleaning wash with cloths in

Filled up garden recycling bin full of garden waste and 3/4 of the garden looks a lot better now. Need a new part of the back fence after its blown in twice now with the strong winds. Managed to salvage a most of it but its still a big section thats been bodged back up for a while. So better save some pennies now for that.

Just having a coffee then its onto some HHI and then scones and flavoured coffee making before I have a look at todays menu and what needs doing

A big hug for those of you missing Mum's and Grandmothers and other special ladies today, wishing you fond memories and strength from the wonderful women they were xx

I like dusty's words, so will share them!

:hello:Hi to all my flylady friends!

:jCongratulations to grateful on the safe arrival of Thomas!:j

I came down this morning to a hand made card, and promise of some plants, so I'm very happy! I hate the way shops double or treble the prices of flowers. DD came with me to my favourite nursery yesterday (not her usual choice of outing;)) and treated me to some packets of seeds.:D The sun is shining, so once I get the planning for next week out of the way (avoiding it at the moment, sigh) then I'm pottering around the garden.

The house isn't too awful I just need to do the bathroom.

:hello:dusty - I have the stitches out tomorrow morning. So far, it's looking reasonably unobtrusive, except for the blue threads, so I'm hopeful it won't be too much of a scar - well, that's what a decnt foundation and concealer are for!

:hello:hex - how are you? Bet the garden is looking really pretty at the moment. Are you still doing loads of extra work?

:hello:sexymouse - I'm really sorry, I've been a really neglectful friend recently - I'll text or email later.

Love and hugs, esecially for toots, lady-liberty and lamewolf

  • Good Morning All

Hugs/Spoons to all who need or want them.

I have read through the thread but it feels like my brain is having a lie in this morning as I have been unable to take in anything :o

Not much in the way of flying this morning but as there is only myself and dogbot their is no mess, although I do have the ironing mountain to do.
