Kaz.. when at parents evening the other day the teacher was saying how good Moomin was doing her reading but she never does her homework and so she misses 2 break times a week and i made to stay in and do the homework.. I said 'well if you are happy to keep her in then I am fine with that..' The teacher was a bit shocked I think.. I did explain they have ample time and reminding to do their homework so it is a conscious decision to not do it so she can say in..

DD1 was about 14 when she realised I did actually mean I would bin her crap... after I binned it all lol... if it isn't there it isn't mess.. I als binbagged her clothes off the landing for charity shop so she had abdabs and put them away...

The 3 girls are on bedroom cleaning duty tomorrow.. though I usually make them do 25 things away each night.. and washing in the basket we are getting so they do it without being asked ometimes so we are getting there.. if they have been really horrible I make them do up to 100.

Greenbee.. I love the sound of sleep.. I might get some tonight!

Fire lit - I'm burning old pallets, which burn very fast and hot.

About to light ours. I'm burning the old willow hurdles and the old woodstore panels. Burns in the same manner.

I've just added some coal to slow it down... I had all the vents closed and thought it might take off... so can recommend mixing with something else!

The jacket spuds were lovely; and it's only just dawned on me that was the first thing I've had to eat today!

Plan for today/the weekend (in no particular order):
    [STRIKE]shopping[/STRIKE]
    homework with DS2
laundry - towels now swapped for bedding
    [STRIKE]give DS1 some jobs to do[/STRIKE]
tea - just mine and DS1's left to do, and I have no idea what I want :(
    some HHCs
look for coat for DS2 (maybe, but it can wait) - will wait
    school work
    [STRIKE]buy present for MIL[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]sort card and present for foreign language assistant - her last day on Tue[/STRIKE]

The weather improved a lot and it turned out to be a nice day. DS2 and I were out for 4 hours  and he was really patient, but I shouldn't need to go anywhere tomorrow, other than to MIL's. :D There's enough food in the house to keep going at least until the holidays. and the cat has enough until Easter. LW - might join you in a jacket and beans/cheese. I froze some as an experiment and may just have enough patience to defrost it. I've put most of the shopping away and the rubbish/recycling out, so all in all not a bad day. I'm determined to go out tonight after not managing it for a fortnight, so after tea it's time for some work. I'm really keen to make space in the dining room for my little greenhouse so I can start some seeds, but I think that would count as a displacement activity.:o

Time for food and DS2's bedtime. He chose more books at the library he can read himself, as it makes him feel very grown-up (I'll still read bedtime stories, though, for as long as he wants me to) . Another bookworm in the family. :j

Nor here either. I'm just watching a DVD of North and South Ep 1 and having a cup of tea and half an easter egg then off to bed in about an hour to sleep of my moodiness and dwelling on the past to wake up tomorrow a new day to enjoy

Thanks Mrs C - I can feel the posi vibes washing over me after I read that.

Anyway it was the usual ex issue hanging around after I saw him yesterday and I think its the new moon causing my mood - at least I can blame it on that!

Tomorrow is a brighter day a new day and a good family day too which I am looking forward to

    Evening folks

Grateful: Congratulations on your new arrival :T

Sexymouse: Hope you have a wonderful Weddingmoon and you are better before setting off. :happylove

4nnabella: Happy Birthday for tomorrow :bdaycake:

Today I have managed 4xwm, td, also got my steam cleaner out and cleaned everything that stood still. Stripped DS1 bed, washed & dried it. Showed DS1 how to remake it as it is his job from now on. :p

DH, DS2 and me went to cash & carry bought compost for tubs, some sweet pea and lavender seeds. Going to share plants with a friend. We bought a small rechargeable vacuum to take upstairs for emergencies during the week (DH takes Henry up on Saturdays). Purse is now shut.

Off to do a quick HHC in kitchen as DS1 has been rummaging in the cupboards and that usually mean lots of pots.

House looks better but I think it is time to lose more clutter including books on decluttering :D
