Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

  • Ironing mountain id no more:j:j but OH has brought down his stuff. So one load has been washed and is in the TD and the second in the WM.

Ive been feeling grotty today and finding it hard to find the energy to do much. So dogbot and I shared a tin of rice pudding for lunch and he has now gone up stairs to lay on my bed for a nap...and Im starting to think he has the right idea.

I probably won't get a chance to get on here tomorrow, as I'll be packing, and we leave at 7.30am on Tuesday for the airport.

Just so you can all visualise where we'll be getting married on Friday, here is a picture of hopefully where we will be. Our wedding is at 11am Jamaican time, so 5pm UK time.

Thank you for all of the well wishes. Moon is still feeling a bit fragile, but I expect he'll be ok tomorrow, as it's just a bad hangover. I've still got a sore throat, but am taking my vitamins, and if the worst comes to the worst, I'll have to go to the doctor tomorrow for some antibiotics if it is tonsillitis. No "wooing" at Zumba class tonight, as I don't want to make things worse.

Have been trying to get lots of washing done today so that we don't have it all to come back to.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Is it the grass rash again?

Thanks for the reminder but that is DS2, this is DS3. It is more slap cheeky. DS2 does have a rash too though which is more grassy, he is outside so I'll see if it gets worse and thinking about it nobody has had any anti-h today, I have 3 packs of different ones and can't remember who responds best to which one.

DH bought the pudd from the M&S advert, because I was drooling over it whenever it came on. He does have thoughtful moments. :T
If I'm grouchy then it's because, otherwise, the day is no different to any other Sunday - and everyone seems to think that that's fine.

Glad he did something good, keep that thought. It is no different here either but that is what I planned for, kids even opened the mini eggs they had brought me and started eating them but do you know what I don't care. I'm alive and here with them, more than my friend who's funeral is on Wednesday:( Can't imagine what it is like in their house today but the youngest has his birthday party later and DS3 will be there to show support.
does yours party all night then go to bed at 3 am??

Not anymore but he did. He is more concerned by burglars so up and down like a yoyo if nobody is upstairs too

Dinner done, DH tidied up. Sis came with mum for lunch but they are both unwell (thanks for coming then) so Sis eat and went, Mum stayed for now, so hoping we don't all get ill in 2 days.

    hi!

I'm new to Flylady so thought I'd look on here and hopefully find some moral support to keep going!

I bought her book about 10 days ago (Sink Reflections) and am reading it in bed every night. I really like Fly lady's tone of voice and her attitude - makes me want to go yeah! I can do it!

have been making bed immediately in the morning and shining sink every day. I've found I'm not letting it get too bad in the day if I know i've got to clean it until it shines later!:D

also been making an effort to put away what I've got out, so i'm not leaving a trail behind me, and straightening / tidying things in rooms as I pass. Made a little difference so far, makes me feel good about it too!

anybody else on baby steps with me?
