Tesco/Asda Pricechecker finds here (Thread 2)

there have been many comments that there seem to be very few DTD vouchers around even in larger stores etc
interesting "tesco quote" from Retail Week
http://www.retail-week.com/in-business/marketing/tesco-forced-to-cap-pricecheck-refunds/5024051.article
“It was less than 0.02% -about 100 people - who ingeniously managed to gain a larger amount. In reality, we’re talking about a tiny amount of people.”
which ties into when the £100 cap was introduced, a week or so ago, and Tesco were reported as saying that it was "one in 5000" who were exploiting the Price check scheme
so say 500,000 price checks (or customers if identified by email address or clubcard) and 100 are seeking to maximise the benefits
of course the splurge of publicity a week or so ago may have increased the number using
but i have to say as a quite frequent reader and occasional poster i do not think many people are using the price check scheme
just my tuppence worth
Agree with this entirely. The sheer number of people I have told about this (including my own mother) that aren't doing this is amazing. I can not believe some of the excuses they come up with. I have colleagues at work would rather work 2 hours over for £15 in real money than spend 20 mins in Tesco with me for circa £60!
I don't think you realise but people are really scared about all of these. They feel they're doing something wrong. All of us who post here regularly are confident, in the very nature of becoming quite frequent posters!I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

He was here earlier today Im sure.
Perhaps he has reported his 10th fraudster and has won a two min shopping dash around Tesco, only prob is he keeps stopping the clock when he gets £20 worth of DTD in his trolley, has not gotten past the proglide razors yet and the store shut 2 hours ago.xxxxxlollyxxxxx wrote: »I keep expecting Dale Winton to jump out with his blow up banana everytime i go wild in the aisles lol

Have edited sheet as data validation in Column G (quantity) is pointed at 'Tesco DTD calc'!K2:K297' as the source list for the drop down box. K2:K297 is the comments column so when you click to enter the quantity you want, it will only accept values from the comment fields like "30p on each pack" rather than a number you actually want.
To fix I have inserted addition colunm "L" with the values 0 to 15 for the quantity list and linked the validation settings in column G to it. I have then hiden colunm "L" so it is not viewable.
Not sure what colunm "J" - "Source Data" is doing there, as it contains seemingly random numerical values that dont appear to be part of any math in the rest of the sheet, still, I left them there as don't want to meddle too much!
The quantities (and therefore the totals at the bottom of the sheet) are now working again.
The column was a list of numbers from 1 to 300. This has some how been affected by people inserting and removing items, copy and pasting items etc. It's actually only useful to the editors as Joe-public can't access this feature. That was my sole purpose for changing the initiated sheet but alas, Google docs don't have single-cell protection as yet.I am firmly across the line. I won't impose my values on you if you keep away from mine.

Did this for the first time today. I know the t&c's say you'll get a voucher within 36 hours but in practice, roughly how long does it take to get the voucher through? I used my cc and clubcard if that makes a difference?Still £1.49 each when I bought 4 earlier. Well, £1.19 each for me as I used the vouchers. And I'll get £9.92 DTD, yahoo!!!!
So I assume they give you DTD before the voucher is deducted?0 -
