It didn't happen, Souk - Mum's car broke down so we will have to rearrange!
Was invited out for a drink instead....which I very bravely accepted, and thoroughly enjoyed
Quiet night in tonight. Then out tomorrow swapping a reflexology session in return for dinner being cooked for me.......looking forward to that too :T

Morning all.....I now feel very popular on a Wednesday as my texts go mad.....shame it is only my various banks updating me as to how little cash I have
I figured it is best to have all the pain in one go, so within a 10 min time frame on a Weds morning, I get all my balances and transactions sent to me. Ah well, I can at least pretend to be popular - no one in the office needs to know that it is simply the Halifax saying "you're having a laugh Missy!!"

Wow! Thats quite something :rotfl: at least the days are gone when you had to check Egg daily cos they were bound to have scr*wed up ....
Having dinner cooked for you sounds lurvely :j enjoy :j2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I do still check my balances most days - it is a habit I don't really want to break....but the thing where they send the texts to the phone is handy when I am away on hols (cos of course I am a constant jetsetter.......) and the like, which is the time where I am likely to be out of touch with budgets/balances due to exchange rates etc.
Dinner tonight will be fun - of that I am sure. And another friend offered to come to mine tomorrow and cook (he was a chef for several years, so would be interesting to see what *he* makes out of my storecupboard offerings) for me in return for me listening to him try and work out why his latest relationship has not gone according to plan.
