Living life, loving life.......hypno's having a ball!

I just googled Berrocca - we're a bit behind up here on the wild moors:cool:
When I got a bit run down after a difficult birth, my midwife suggested yeast tablets - which, of course, are Vitamin B. If I get a bit down, I take Vitamin B and I know I'm better when I forget to take them..
I think I'll try them as a general pick me up this winter.
I'm glad you are feeling better. I wonder if we all need to take time out to reconsider out lives now and then - like going on a retreat.
Perhaps if we did it as a regular activity we would catch things before they got us down? But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
I have a yeast intolerance, so have to be careful what I take, otherwise I feel worse rather than feeling better.
That said, this week I bought myself a loaf of bread and have been having marmite on toast at least once a day.....both yeast products....go figure. Maybe I have been craving it for some reason. Needless to say, as part of next week's continuation of "getting myself sorted" the toast and marmite and all things yeasty will be going, otherwise I will just give myself other problems....which are really not much fun!
The time out thing is spot on - it was only because I took those 2 weeks in France, where I was *forced* to do nothing, that it allowed me the time to catch up. And of course, because I had several years' worth of "catching up"....good, bad, and indifferent.....it hit me very hard, resulting in this latest period of gloom.
Had I been able to allow myself to catch up more regularly, I am sure it wouldn't have hit me in the same way, and certainly not with the same level of harshness.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Ooooo, not pleasant. Maybe your body is telling you that you need vitamin B as Tricia suggests.

I think that brings us full circle to the start of this discussion when we said that a few of us had found that it all hit the fan once we stopped.
A good lesson and one that seems so obvious now (doh why didn't I think of that) to stop and "retreat" I am not religious but maybe that is what the whole day of rest thing should be about!

Changing the subject completely, to one of those "well I never did" moments.....
The film that is out at the moment with Sarah Jessica-Parker "I don't know how she does it".....is one of those that I was talking about going to see with my DD. However, with the way that I have been feeling over recent days, the subject matter was perhaps a little too close to home, and I wondered if maybe I should save that film for another time.
Today, I discover that it is based on a woman who I worked with only 3 years ago. She started at the place I currently work just a couple of weeks after I did, although left after 6 months or so.
So, bizarrely, the film is now even closer to home than I thought. And now it is a "must see" simply because I know that this particular woman was very good at throwing her Costa coffee up the stairs when she came into the office in the mornings and didn't always leave the ladies toilets in the sweetest smelling of conditions :rotfl: Bet Sarah J-P isn't acting *those* bits outSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Sounds a good film but I'm not keen on SJP. Still I think most women are good at keeping all balls bouncing.

Equally obviously you should insist on a good looking actress to play you."Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
