I just laugh till I cry - the Downton Abbey Advert came on and it has the First World war in this series and that made me properly cry so Doctor Who had better not be scary as that will finish me off completely!

I recommend the pictures to see Bridesmaids. Last weekend I was very tearful. OH took me to see that (very kind it being a girly film) and we both laughed til our sides ached.
Enjoy the dinner. Some days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Hope you've had a nice meal and are tucked up now ....
Been home about 10 mins - long enough to climb into bed with the laptop, and set the alarm for the rugby in the morning.
Had a lovely dinner, and as I was driving was very MSE as only soft drinks.
Hope you have all had a good evening - sleep well xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Slept better last night - having got a couple of things sorted in my head during the course of the evening, which makes a big difference. Still much to do but am hoping I have turned a corner with being able to deal with it, so thank you (again) for the help and support that you guys have given me over the last week or so. MSE is about so much more than money, and that is invaluable.
So, today I am heading to the gym for a good hour or so, and DD and I are using a BOGOF cinema voucher to go and see "one day" later this afternoon which will be nice, as we never go to the cinema together.

You *do* sound a bit better, Hypno, which is nice to hear - keep on being kind to yourself! An easy evening out with DD sounds just right2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Pleased you got more sleep last night. Stating the obvious but dealing with this lastest 'stuff' will be so much harder to move on from while sleep deprived...they use sleep deprivation as a form of torture for a reason!
There's one thing for sure, I don't think you could be trying harder at improving things, you're pushing through even though you weren't in the mood to go out the other night, exercising etc, you're a star, I hope you process things and move on from them soon and some amazing distraction comes into your life in whatever form would make you happy x0 -
Thanks KC - have woken with a cracking headache (not a hangover, I wasn't drinking last night!) but I think that is all part of the "processing" process. So once the rugby has finished, I will pull on my gym kit and head down there early to see if I can shift some of the fuzziness, which in turn will hopefully allow some more of the "stuff" to get dealt with.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Ooh, KM you snuck on there while I was typing.
Thank you - although I do wonder sometimes whether I am trying *too* hard! Someone close to me earlier in the week told me that I was going at 100 miles an hour, when in fact 25 mph would have been far more appropriate. He was, of course, right......:oSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. I think he was right too .... I can see why you're doing it, you're so *used* to going at 100mph .... maybe slow down to the speed limit for starters? :grouphug:2023: the year I get to buy a car0
