Shaggy I heard the bells too last night. When does this stop? We had a late supper and watched a film, but I stuck with warm milk and honey. It would be soooo easy just to have a drink. Need to keep it out of my system as I have been much more level headed, calmer and less anxious without it.

I don't think the bells will stop for me - but I only hear them sometimes :D

I gave up smoking years ago and I still feel tempted very occasionally.

I heared the bells again last night but just ignored them. Luckily I was at home and I had no drink in. I didn't want to drink enough to actually go out to the shop and the desire passed.:)
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Good morning everyone-hope you all had a good day yesterday. I worked in the morning and then went to a bbq where i think i had a bit too much wine so I feel a bit rubbish today-why can't i seem to stick with a couple of glasses? I really think that I shouldn't drink at all on occasions like this and am seriously considering giving up altogether. Can you put me down for 30 afds for May please Shaggy. Alcohol is not enhancing my life and it hasn't for a long while so I'm just going to ditch it altogether for me and my family. So sorry about your terrible day Mrs R and for the loss of your grandad.

  • Bells here last night too. was babysitting for some friends who'd kindly left me out some opened wine. I nearly had a 'sod it' moment, as I've made my target, but had my thousandth cup of tea of the day instead so 22 for April Shaggy.

    Have good weekends all.

Bells here too last night :rotfl:. But managed to feel more relaxed about it and was AF. Making 21 for April so far! I am actually really pleased as I have been AF since 11 April, so this is a long run for me. It doesn't sound like much of an achievement but I am going to build on it.

Happyshopper, Well done for leaving the wine :T.

Beckseven, I completely agree with you and wish you good luck :j.

Shaggy, thank you for the reassurance that my life isn't going to be cacophony filled!
