    Morning :hello:

I bought a bottle of white wine to sip last night. I noticed it had the units marked on the bottle :j. There were 9 in my bottle. I drank about 6 units worth (watched REDs - it was fun) and will have the remainder to night.

See Shaggy, this is where I would like to be. Unfortunately, at the moment, "wine" and "sip" don't normally appear in the same sentence for me!

Morning Shaggy, thanks for keeping count.
I finally got my first green jumpy thing!

No problems - do I need to add another for last night? I sort of lost track?
What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

moo2moo - I could have written exactly the same thing about MrR. Unfortunately i'm still waiting for him to have his lightbulb moment. At 6.30 this morning I was wondering why he continues to spend £10-20 per day rather than putting that money aside to help us when i'm on 50% salary.
I hope your OH sticks with it.

    MrsR xx

Oh my - that is such a lot of money :(

:D and my problem is that I could happily "sip" on half a bottle of wine every night... which is why this thread is soooo great for me. It makes me think and (hopefully) keeps me on the straight and narrow.

    This thread is so great:D

My OH has been alcohol free for 20 days.
3 weeks for me too.... still grumpy, still very tired but strangely interested in things, ulcer much much much better (3 more weeks of tablets that I have to finish, though)

Getting MUCH better on all fronts .... and some money in my pocket, though like your OH spending it just as quick on other things ;):D

    Good luck
