    Evening to you all,

YAY AF for me please shaggy that makes 1 for december :rotfl:

    Having a good day.

Hope you all have a good evening

    Legs xx
  • Wow, some inspiration posts, thank you X

3 for the SNC please Bearacus. I have a night out on Thursday so will have a glass of wine with dinner.

Have been terribly tempted to open a bottle of red tonight. It's been screaming at me from the cupboard! But I have resisted and it's too late now :j

I've applied for a new job today. I can't tell you just how much I want it. I've been miserable in my current job for such a long time. It's less money and I'm more qualified than they are looking for. But there would be no commute and the hours would fit in with school. I really, really hope I get an interview.

    Off to watch Masterchef.

    Night X
    Need to start again :o
  • Sorry I've been AWOL for the last week or so; I've had a bit of a crazy week at work and my home computer presented me with the 'blue screen of death' all ok now.
I've only managed 2 AF days since I last posted so that's 3 for my Dec target please Shaggy.
Bearacus can you put me down for 3 for the SNC this week please? I have a do on Wed but hope to be AF today, Tues and Thurs.
  • Congratulations on the AF birthdays.

    :T :T :T

  • Just popping in to say hi! Seems a very long time since my original post and much is changed in my life since then! Looking back I do so in the knowledge that I drank WAAAAAAY too much but am now happy to report that I am pretty much t-total and fine with it; I will drink over Christmas but know it wont be that much. Cant even remember the last time I had a drink but know it was months ago...I dont miss it at all and concluded that the physical effect of alcohol made me feel so rubbish that it wasnt worth it; my only vice now is food and I'm as big as a house but to be honest thats always been an issue and Ive concluded that (having tried all other avenues) that stomach stapling is a must and is my next goal.
Im so proud that this thread, originally set up to help an MSE friend who struggled, has helped so many and that it continues to after so long. Keep up the good work! With love from one very proud thread mummy!

OMG! I can't tell you how inspiring I found your original post. I had been unhappy for a long time about my drinking (also my OH's although he is yet to do anything about it). I was looking at the MSE site forums a few months ago and noticed this thread. Your original post appeared at the beginning of this latest incarnation; I read it and thought "I'm going to try to be part of this". I'm not doing as well as I had hoped but I've gone from not being able to remember when I last had an AF day to clocking up a respectable number each month.
    Thank You :T

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

  • AF last night making 5 for Dec and 1 SNC. Didn't have the greatest nights sleep, the howling winds kept me awake for most of it. Luckily we seem to have survived, but our heavy swing seat has travelled around the garden :rotfl:
