4 for the SNC Bearacus.
I didn't manage to get in here last night. We had a powercut, so ended up in bed by 8:30!!
The winds were terrible up here. My neighbours 14ft trampoline flew out of her garden despite being secured down. Scarey stuff
Our house escaped any damage, thankfully. But others around us woke up to missing roof tiles and fallen trees. Certainly looking forward to a quieter night tonight.
Will pop in later once the kids are in bed xNeed to start again0 -
7 AFD please Shaggy. x0

Morning :santa2:
I was AF on Thursday so I completed the SNC Bearacus. I had about 5 units last night.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
6 for me Shaggy. Am going to the Arsenal game and 125 yr celebrations today. Hope Everton don't spoil the party.

Hi Everyone
Thank you SO much for the bday wishes and your concern re the weather up here. Pleased to report that calm has resumed after the winds, although the snow has arrived!!
Had a fantastic bday yesterday, DH went to Edin to a michelin star resturant for lunch and WOW..i think it was by far the best meal ive ever had in my life....and also the most expensive:eek: Had some wine with meal and when home, DH asked if i would like some fizz but I declined !!! I had had the most perfect day and didnt want to 'ruin' it by drinking more in the eve. So had a cup of tea instead.
Also what was in the back of my mind was that i was going to fat class at 10 this morning, pleased to report in a loss of 4 and a half pounds over 2 weeks :j:jWhat a difference it makes to me losing weight when i limit my drinking.
Hope you all have a great weekend xIt’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -
Hi everyone and a belated Happy Birthday Mackeroo
I finished my SNC with 3 AFDs this week - that's 2 more for Dec please Shaggy but then went and spoiled it all by drinking FAR too much last night. I'm paying for it today so hopefully it will be the first and last binge of the holiday season and a lesson learned - that's what I'm telling myself!!0 -
Just popping in to say hi! Seems a very long time since my original post and much is changed in my life since then! Looking back I do so in the knowledge that I drank WAAAAAAY too much but am now happy to report that I am pretty much t-total and fine with it; I will drink over Christmas but know it wont be that much. Cant even remember the last time I had a drink but know it was months ago...I dont miss it at all and concluded that the physical effect of alcohol made me feel so rubbish that it wasnt worth it; my only vice now is food and I'm as big as a house but to be honest thats always been an issue and Ive concluded that (having tried all other avenues) that stomach stapling is a must and is my next goal.
Im so proud that this thread, originally set up to help an MSE friend who struggled, has helped so many and that it continues to after so long. Keep up the good work! With love from one very proud thread mummy!Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -
Morning everyone
Was AF last night so 6 AF please Shaggy
Thanks for popping in by Insearchofme i love hearing how people are doing and by the sounds of it you have done fantastically. Im indebted to this board, im a relatively 'newcomer' here (just over a year i think) and wouldnt have clocked up hardly any AF days this year if it wasnt for the support of my 'virtual friends'.
Happy Sunday everyone x
