    Hello Bearacus:wave:

An AF night here for me - DH and boys have gone to see Man U playing so I've had a quiet night in with the dog and the ironing.

Did I say? - we have a brand new puppy - he's very cute and well behaved, I think he's going to be a great addition to our family.
    Trying to keep in budget.

Well done rachel on resisting the call of the bar and DH's provocation. I know you like your Tuesday nights so it's a really good acheivement.:T

Thanks maman. It was quite tough, but it's been a lot better tonight.

Had a few bells when I got out of work, but have been fine this evening, apart from eating everything in sight (all good SW stuff mind ;)). DH polished off his wine tonight, but I wasn't interested. Well I don't drink wine anyway, but there is a full box of beers in the kitchen, but I'm quite happy on my lime & soda again this evening.

3 for Dec please Shaggy, and 3 SNC Bearacus xx

OK so that's one night down = 1 for the SNC and 1 AFD - I think (am I doing this right?!)

Have been boringly doing an online supermarket shop. I hate them, it takes as bl**dy long as going to the supermarket! But I have a £20 voucher so I'm determined to use it. Anyway I stuck to the fizzy water and tea while slogging at the computer.
  • Gosh!! Can't believe the time!

Sorry not to have read back the thread yet, but I've been online all night Christmas and birthday shopping. My eldest has been invited to 4 birthday parties in the next two weeks. I could really do without the expense of present buying, but he wants to go and it seems really mean not to let him.

3 for the SNC please Bearacus :j

I was feeling a bit stressed earlier. Got in late, had to do dinner for the kids. They were fighting! I knew that I had loads of computer stuff to do. I was sorely tempted to get a glass of wine. So glad I didn't though.

    Will sleep well tonight.

    Night night x
    Need to start again :o

Congratulations on getting your first day behind you Jevvers.:T I'm not saying it's easy from now on but the first is over.

Well done mackeroo, baths are often a good distraction technique. Hope tomorrow's weather isn't too horrendous for you. I had a strange day too and really fancied a drink to cheer me up. Then I thought, will it really make a difference? My answer was no, so I didn't. I was thinking that I really need to clock up the AF days while I can so no room for 's*d it' days this month.

3AFDs for December and 3 for the SNC please.

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Welcome jevvers and good luck. I'm in a similar boat - not drinking huge amounts but drinking every single day and starting earlier and earlier.

This is me too if I'm not careful - death by a thousand cuts. Those small amounts can really add up over the week.
