1 Af please Shaggy and 2 for the SNC Bearacus
Had large glass of vino tonite, bells rang very loudly around 7pm ish, and i couldnt be bothered putting up a fight with the blasted bells this eve, too tired. But at least i stopped after 1 glass which is a postive. Off to bed nowIt’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts0 -
Massive bells tonight since I got in from work at 9pm, still ringing now. Had a terrible night at work, crappy attitudes from a couple of people. Bought a bottle of red on the way out (the perils of working in a supermarket!) BUT, I haven't actually opened it. Very tempted as BF has just cracked open a cider and I'm not up early tomorrow, but I'm feeling quite tired and know I'll sleep better without it.
So I'm declaring now so I can't go back on it! 2 for Nov and 3 for the SNC please.xx (posting from phone, sorry no colours)0 -
Hey idris, I know exactly how you feel, I've been a bit like that myself recently. There's no point beating yourself up over it though, what's done is done and at least you're aware of yourself and want to change. It's a new month now so go for it! And think about how great you'll feel on Sunday with no hangover0

Another sympathiser (or more accurately empathiser) here idris. There have been too many times when I've embarassed myself with my behaviour and put puking (or falling asleep at the table during a dinner party once:o) down to the fact that I was incredibly tired from work and so booze affected me more. It couldn't have been that I'd had too much of course! If I were you, I'd do whatever it takes to get you through Saturday night AF, go to bed, go to the cinema, anything. You'll feel so pleased with yourself on Sunday and if you must you could have a drink to look forward to after the meeting is over. I worry now that I may have turned up at early meetings smelling of booze. I wasn't aware of it myself but these days I can smell it on other people. Ugh! That's a sobering thought.
Sorry, but forgot to say :T on the Christmas job MrsR. It will be hard leaving BabyR to begin with but it'll be good for you to have a bit of adult company.
Bells were much fainter tonight. Once I got in and made a big mug of tea I didn't really miss it. So that's
2AF for November and 3 for the SNC, thanks both.0 -

ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -
