13 afds for me please shaggy. Not doing too great this month and will probably be 5 days short of my target. Will set my target for November for 20 and I will make it. I really need to lose some weight before my school reunion at the end of the month so no alcohol will help things along. On a positive note I have been really controlling my drinking-we went to dinner at a friend's house and I was so determined not to do what I have done on many occasions before and got wasted and embarassed myself!HSBC Visa-High interest-£2349.23 Nat West £2605.18

Well the red wine called to me on Thursday night and I, as usual, listened to it !!
My resolve returned on Friday and has stayed with me tonight so 12 AFDs please Shaggy.
Also for Nov. could you put my target down as 26, thank you.........0 -
No alcohol for me yesterday or today DH has been late back both nights and I prefer not to drink alone. I've had a really lazy day too so feel quite guilty - will have to crack on tomorrowTrying to keep in budget.

Morning :hello:
I wasn't AF last night but I'll be back on the wagon tonight.
ShaggyxWhat do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.0 -

caramelcaron wrote: »Reading about the alcohol expenditure in MrsR's household made me think about what we spend. I should probably say now that both Mr Caramel and I have good jobs and we have a good standard of living. However, we love to travel and if we didn't drink as much it would be a very nice holiday.
I have worked out that we probably spend about £300 a month at Sainsburys on wine and beer and probably another £250 (a conservative estimate) a month on alcohol bought in pubs and restaurants
SO I have decided that every day I don't drink I will put £4 in a pot to represent the cost of a bottle of wine (can you tell I don't have a sophisticated palate?) Then at the end of the month it will be my 'mad money' to spend as I like
.
 That's the same amount per month as I pay in rent!!!!

Right, I drank on Thursday, but not yesterday. So I'm on 27. That means my "run" ended at 61 consecutive AF days. Just going for a nap then out with the OH for her birthday. I won't be sober tonight. Tomorrow, I start again. xx
61 days, well done!! :T
