    Evening all

Thank you all for your encouragement. It means a lot to me.

4pm today the bells were ringing. 4pm seems to be my time lately and I've been known to crack open a bottle of wine several days a week at that time. Today I immediately decided to get busy. Gave Piglet a haircut (which he was most displeased about!!:rotfl:) and then gave him an early bath. Seemed to help but have still felt a bit grumpy and edgy since.

    Roll on bedtime

    Miss P

9 Af please Shaggy and 3 for SNC please Bearacus
It’s not what you have in your life but who you have in your life that counts
  • 9 please, Shaggy, thanks.

Just come back from a work trip - I was SO anxious last weekend, leaving DD2 and DD3 being looked after by DH - but they all coped OK! But I drank far too much last weekend, I was dreading it. The wine then increased my anxiety by 100% so that on Sunday I was a wreck. I had to leave on Sunday afternoon and take a flight to France. I think it all went OK after all, and I wasn't even tempted to drink while I was there.

I hope everybody is OK x
  • Hope you manage to stay strong Miss P x
I feel your pain pricey, I drank far too much at the weekend, especially Sunday, and have been anxious and tired all week so far. Hoping for a more chilled out day tomorrow.

I'm feeling totally knackered, tuesdays and wednesdays I have college (20 miles away) all day from 9:30 until 4 and then start work at 5 (after another 20 mile drive) and don't get home until 9:30pm, don't get proper meals etc and am out the house for 13 hrs, (retraining for a new career sounded like a good idea at the time!). I used to wind down from all this with a glass or 2 of wine, its not until recently that I've realised how much more damage it was doing!

I'm on 7 for Oct please shaggy and 3 on the SNC please bearacus :)

    Hope everyone is ok!

What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.
