What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Morning, just checking in with an AF day! Mind you it was really difficult to wake up this morning! So it's 2 in total for September please shaggy and can I join for a full SNC please bearacus? .

Off to do some exercise in the parkthis morning and then a quick trip to the supermarket for more fruit and veg. Have a good day.
    Trying to keep in budget.

  • I've woken up with a clear head again this morning and my waking thought was - I wouldn't feel like this without this thread and you lot. So thanks :)

Thank you so much everyone for your stories, its motivating to hear plus as i'm nosey i like to read them!

I managed an AF day yesterday and like others have said it was lovely to wake up clear headed and ready to go. Still slept badly though but again that's habit too.

I know tonight will be hard at the moment i'm 50/50 as DH is out till 10pm, i'll have the kids in bed by 6.30-7pm and usually tuesday eve is my night to watch tv/surf net and have a few drinks, not drunk, just relaxing! I'll try not too, but it won't be easy. Tomorrow and thurs will be easier as i'm working those eve's.

So 1 night for me please.

Also those pains i've been getting seem better today................hmmm i wonder why!!!!!LOL.

~Great thread, i'l try to stick to it this time rather than waver on off.

    Have a great day everyone!

  • Hi everyone

Didn't do too well yesterday with not drinking and ended up having far too much wine and getting really emotional and silly, and arguing with my boyfriend - and can't remember bits of the evening which I really hate - particularly bad as it was a Sunday night but am off this week so think I was using that as an excuse. So been feeling very groggy, fuzzy headed and basically sorry for myself today - looking forward to waking up with a clear head tomorrow morning. I've pledged to have no more booze this week at all.

So far in September then I have had 2/30 AFD - aiming for 20/30 so a fair way to go yet...

Thanks for adding me to the list, really helps I think to log on, even if I have slipped up a bit...

    Stitch

Stitch, don't worry about slipping a bit. It's early in the month. You can still easily reach your target. Today is a new day

  • Hi All!!

Just checking in while BabyR is asleep.

For the 1st time in ages MrR came home last night without stopping off at the shop first :D. Ok, he did have alcohol in the house but it was "only" 1 bottle of White and a couple of largers.

1 step forward, lets hope it's not 2 steps back tonight.

  • Can I come back in please :o. I was pretty appalling during August, and only racked up about 6 AFDs, my worst month yet. But I seriuosly need to shift this last bit of weight and I have a hospital appointment at the end of the month, so I need a good few AFDs before then. Could I be TF please Shaggy, with 2 completed. Hope everyone has been doing well, I must admit to not even looking at this thread for nearly a month :o
