May2013 - hope you had a fab birthday!
Shaggy - glad you enjoyed your hols!
AnnieG - what's this running challenge that you're doing? (sorry to go a little off topic!)

have been a bit all over the shop just now, i'm doing so much at the same time, trying to stop smoking, cutting back on drinking, trying to lose weight, just generally trying to be healthy. not too sure if it's a bit overwhelming especially after a pretty rotten year but trying to keep positive. In saying that - today is day 16 AF and i'm looking set for being a-okay for being 4 days on the SNC. sorry for a bit of a low post :( i'm normally quite chipper. hope normal service resumes soon! x

(((hugs))) You're doing really well, and all the hard work you're doing now will pay off in the end and you'll be so glad that you've done it. :) I wish I had your willpower! I keep telling myself I'll eat healthily and do exercise but never actually do it.

Don't forget to take some time out for yourself occasionally and treat yourself, or maybe have a pamper night to make yourself feel good. :D

Don't be discouraged yoemma, just carry on carrying on! I read that as too much at the same time. I think it's amazing all the challenges you're coping with at once.

I started with just cutting down and then (almost 2 years later:o) moved on to losing weight. So you're doing so well to tackle 3/4 things at the same time. I must share that today I've reached my target weight, having lost 3st 3lbs:j:D So it can be done, just hang in there!

Hope you have a good day MrsR.

I saw on the SW thread CONGRATULATIONS!! :T:T:T:T:T:T:T you must be so pleased!!! how long did it take you to get to target, if you don't mind me asking? I still have a peek at the thread for food ideas although i'm working my way through a load of dyno rod that was in the freezer!!!!

thanks everyone - i think that i was just feeling a wee bit sorry for myself. i think a pamper night is most definitely in order, thanks for the idea fakeplastictwee (love the username! :)) x

Of course I don't mind and thanks for the good wishes. I started in October last year and have steadily lost an average of 1.5lbs a week (holidays excepted:o).

Hope your pamper session is lovely!
