What do we do when we fall? We get up, dust ourselves off and start walking in the right direction again. Perhaps when we fall, it is easy to forget there are people along the way who help us stand and walk with us as we get back on track.

Well we woke up this morning to find our van (transit, we're halfway through converting it to a camper) has been broken into for the second time in 2 months. :( Last time they just broke the window lock and jumped in and tried to steal it, but this time they smashed the window open as my OH had secured the lock. So there'll be a £90 excess to pay on getting the window fixed. It just seems to be one thing after another with money, all the more reason to pack up with the old vino.

:( honestly what is wrong with some people :(

Ooh, I'm going to find out recommended limits and try to stick to that. It's a limit though, not a target!

I have a spreadsheet to count my units (as well as counting my AFDs). I make sure I confess everyday:cool:
I find this helps me think about what I'm drinking when I do decide to have drink.

I wasn't af last night-came back from zumba and dh had bought a bottle of wine so had two glasses. Annoyed with myself as August is going really badly with the af days.

I always find August really bad too! It's one of the things that struck me the most when I first started doing my spreadsheet!

The Good News is that I found Sept and October pretty good for being AF.:)

  • Evening all,

The weather was kind at the weekend and we had a fab time. The opposite of AF though, lots of scrumpy was consumed, and it was really good.

I made excuses each of the last two nights but I'm finally putting in an AFD today so that's 4 for me so far in August. Welcome back Shaggy and I'm glad you had a lovely time. It sounds great!

    Helloooo!
Been awol because I've been busy, but not boozing. So, that's 3 for me for the SNC :A and 13 AF days for August.

Have completed 2 days of my running challenge and been trying to look after myself properly.

Hope everyone's doing ok, not drinking feels great to me, I just hope I can keep it up!
